The Crewe Arms

Lovely pub - we had lunch one day and the food was amazing. The staff are all really friendly. The room itself is a little tired but fine for one night.

Fantastic staff that went out of their way to make our stay excellent. Kept kitchen open for us so we could eat after arriving late, lovely treats for our kids and lovely comfy rooms. Will definitely stay again.

Great homely vibe !

Comfortable & Clean, slightly cold upon arrival but a few mins with the heater on resolved that, in general it was great value for money with Donkey picture on the wall (I donate monthly to the donkey sanctuary) & heilan coo’s in the bathroom (I’m also Scottish) only negative was the sound proofing from neighbouring rooms, the snoring !!! Gosh ! However, it was more homely than you’d have realised, thank you.

Cheap but not cheerful

Uncomfortable bed, no food in the evening, uninterested staff. Dirty throw on the bed, hair on the duvet, dirts glasses in the room. Very poor overall

Perfect location, gorgeous food and fantastic service......they have it all in spades! Stayed a couple of nights and already trying to find a reason to be back up that way so I can book again.

Lovely two night stay for a friend’s wedding in nearby Brackley. Mark and Zoe were excellent hosts. We were made to feel welcome and the food and drink selection in the bar are superb. Five minute drive into brackley or a £15 taxi.

Excellent stay. Good value for money. Great food and service. Bed very comfy, quiet room and free tea/coffee/biscuits/mineral water. Staff very pleasant. Family run. The sink in the bathroom was badly cracked and the shower grouting old. Dog friendly. Would definitely be pleased to stay again.

6/10 Good

Really nice looking room, however just needs some TLC, especially the shower extractor which was filthy. Staff just told me where the room was and didn’t explain anything especially how to turn the shower on. Really quiet at night and had a great sleep

Good Value

Chose this stay to break a long journey and what a great choice. Had a nice meal and a few beers, so much nicer than a generic travel lodge, plenty of character and nice surroundings. Room was clean and functional with decent Wi-Fi for my needs.
