The room is a touch small, especially from North American standard, yet it is clean and comfy. We loved the location as we walked comfortably everywhere, to the trains / subway / buses, to the Nishiki market where we shopped & ate with much selection. After we checked out, we shamefully forgot 2 items and had to return to hotel. It was only 10 minutes after our departure, the front desk already was holding my watch waiting for me. All staff is pleasant & courteous & speak good English.

Outstanding hotel. Fantastic location close to the Nishi market. The customer service and staff are excellent.they truly went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable and I needs were met for Japan, the rooms were larger than average very comfortable with all amenities. They also had facility to wash and dry your clothes with the detergents provided. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there are innumerable eating places around the hotel. has to be our best day in Japan. Will definitely come back and highly recommend this place

Simply perfect hotel stay! Beautiful, comfortable and perfectly located, really couldnt have asked for more. Rent a bicycle a block away and be within cycling distance to virtually every major Kyoto site, or walk a block and spend the day exploring the incredible Nishiki market. Becsure to pick up a breakfast sandwich downstairs if they are available - one of our favorite meals of the trip! Highly recommend this hotel!

Great small hotel, we had a wonderful stay. Location was perfect and the staff/front were very friendly and helpful. They all spoke English, which was really helpful. If I return to Kyoto I will definitely be staying at Nest Nishiki again.

Spent 4 nights with exceptional service from the front of house staff. Great recommendations & great room with all the comforts. First morning I thought I was in the comfort of my own futon at home. The complimentary smartphone provided was a lifesaver & took me to places I wouldn’t have ventured with a map. Just up the road from Nishiki market with multiple cafes, bars & restaurants close by! Loved the place & will stay again next visit.
