Alright... not the best compared to other Hiltons
Our stay at Homewood Suites has been okay overall, but there were a number of issues that made it less enjoyable than we had hoped.
When we booked through Hotel.com, the room description indicated there would be a dining table, which would have been perfect for our family of four (including two young kids). Unfortunately, our room did not have one. My wife called the front desk on the first day, and while the staff member said she would look into it, we never received a follow-up call. We decided to manage without it, but it was still a disappointment since mealtimes with kids can get messy without a proper eating space.
The room itself was clean and fairly up-to-date. However, the complimentary breakfast was underwhelming. We didn’t expect luxury, but the quality of the food was lower than what we had experienced at other Hilton properties. Interactions with staff were mixed—some team members were kind and helpful, while others came across as dismissive and not very welcoming. On the positive side, valet service was excellent, and our kids loved the pool area.
Housekeeping could use improvement. At one point, our children’s soap and wash towels were thrown out (or possibly taken) while we were out. On our last night, we also noticed several roaches on the balcony. That may have been due to other guests leaving food out, but it was still unpleasant to see.
Also you aren't allowed to eat outside food in the area near the lobby since its their restaurant.
