The Canopy by Hilton Al Seef is a clean, sleek, modern hotel. All the staff were so helpful and also arranged a taxi for us to the airport. There was a really big breakfast spread and the level 7 pool and bar had an amazing view of the city and creek. The hotel is walkable to the historic neighbourhood and some nice restaurants and is also close to the train if you want to head to the Burj Khalifa or the Palm.

Beautiful new hotel. Rooms stylish and comfortable. Good gym. Great roof top pool and bar. Staff seemed very junior and service in most areas although very friendly was a bit haphazard and slow. Food offering was pretty basic, but good quality. The location of the hotel sounded good in theory, close to the bazaar and the new Al Seef development, but in reality all the shops and restaurants promised in the hotel blurb are still just empty units, making the area feel a bit dead, although this will no doubt change as businesses come in.

- The rooms are very dark, the lights are dim. Couldn’t even do my makeup. - The corridor music is very loud and annoying, I could hear it all the time through the door - AC was set to some mode where it was always 18 in the room until I called for an engineer - USB outlets were turned off - As well as a fridge Why do I have to spend time figuring out how all that works, it should just work - Also it was impossible to sit in the rooftop restaurant after 11:30pm, since they start watering plants with fertilizers and the smell is horrible.

This is the most incredible hotel. The staff really make it. The reception, the valets, housekeeping, room service and laundry. I mean they really take care of you and care. You absolutely cannot beat the location. If you can’t find what you need at the hotel within walking distance on the creek which is a stunning park you will find. Unbelievable, ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE! I have felt so seen, honored and cared for on this trip. Thank you Canopy!
