Worst hotel we have stayed in
I would like to express how deeply unsatisfied I am with my stay.
On arrival the member of staff who was on the front desk seemed confused with my booking email. After 10- 15 mins of waiting I was then told that there was no hot water in the room which was being allocated to us.
When we were showed to the room it was full of damp, my partner is asthmatic and I tried to tell the person on reception. The language barrier was quite apparent and I was told ‘no rooms’. As we were in a foreign country, unsure of the surrounding area we had no other option we decided to accept the room.
During the rest of the stay the electricity turned off almost hourly meaning the air con, television and one light in the bathroom would all turn off sporadically. As the room had black out windows the room was impossible to see in and we were having to use the flash on our phones to get any form of light I’m sure we can agree this is totally unacceptable.
This was the first time I have used Hotel.com to place a booking and I would have hoped the businesses used would be vetted to a higher standard
