This is a lovely old Victorian building, quote central in Tunbridge Wells, the rooms were small, but clean and warm. The staff were all very nice and friendly, accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was good, nothing fancy but nice nonetheless. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the TV was tiny. The whole place seemed somewhat faded and a bit tatty, definitely very dated (the bathrooms and furnishings especially), but it was adequate for a couple of nights.

Nice cosy English hotel.
Third time using this hotel, staff are friendly and eager to help. The property is a typical old English hotel with no elevator but has a cosy feel of which my family enjoyed on all three stays.

Pleasant stay
Room was clean, comfortable and had basic amenities. Rooms are aged and look tired but this really does not bother me. Breakfasts and parking were included in the room rate and they both were good. Friendly staff.

Ideal position for accessing town centre
Unfortunately we were in the main hotel which is very dated. There was no proper blind on the bathroom windows which meant that people could see us when the light was on and it was dark. No privacy. The room was very dimly lit, the curtains were faded and the material was splitting .The bed was not too comfortable , the mattress needs replacing. Thecooked breakfast was tasty and served hot. The carpark was easily accessible Had no problems parking

Convenient location
Very convenient for shops and the train station. Friendly and very helpful staff. Parking on site. "Faded glory" perhaps describes the building best, old fashioned decor, bar and breakfast room functional but not inviting. If you have any mobility needs, even just an aching knee, mention it when booking as we were given a room at the top of the building accessed by 60 stairs..

Good property for staying in the centre of town. Our room was a very good size and well equipped with a small kitchen. Clean. The breakfast was adequate for my husband but little choice for a gluten free vegan.
