Good hotel

Great stay, spa is good value as no other hotel in the area has these facility and well placed for the U Bahn. Lots of nice restaurants near.

Traumatised for life from this Hotel

Hotel was pretty good . Location is not ideal. However one of the most traumatising experience of my life ... i went to spa and was sitting in steam room where a white EU bald bearded slim guy came. Though it is clearly mentioned to wear shorts in the Spa area all the time this guy decided to wear only a tiny towel. When he came inside I was alone and 2 girls were in Jacuzzi outside. This person did not waste any time and took his towel off infront of me looked at me and started playing with himself. I felt so uncomfortable that in this date and time there are still people who are that desperate. I shakingly decided to leave the spa and went to my room to my partner and told what had just happened with me. I decided to inform reception about it though they said to me they were not able to locate the person and no further investigation was done. I was told a famous LGBTQ + had recently purchased this property and sometimes they get guests who behave like that. This is totally unacceptable.

This is not a hotel. It’s just an accommodation provider that does not care about you and your stay. For long stays they are offering one room service after that or for short stays you have to pay! This is quite ridiculous for the price of the stay when compared to actual hotels close by for the same price! You have to collect your towels at reception if you want new ones! The noice from the staff when cleaning in the morning is annoying. You will be awake from 8am with them talking loudly and moving stuff around. The spa offering is poor being open from 3pm to 9pm. If you are visiting you won’t be there at those times. Surly opening at 10am is not unreasonable! The only positive is the location is easy to access and safe! Cannot recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Also remember this is no longer an Axel Hotel! It is LGBT friendly as opposed to being an LGBT hotel.

Die Steckdosen gingen nicht im Zimmer lediglich 1 einzige funktionierte, Zimmer war sauber bis auf das der Boden aussah als wäre er nicht ordentlich gesaugt gewesen. Nacht Beleuchtung flackerte leider nur. Ansonsten schönes Zimmer und gut mit den Öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar

I like that it was modern. I liked having both the sheer and blackout curtains. The staff were all very nice. It's within a 2-3 block walk to the train station in either direction. The temperature control was great. Being able to open the window/door to the outside every morning was nice. There are not a lot of dining or tourist options close by. You will be learning the trains! I was there for about 3 weeks. A washer and dryer on location would've been nice. A microwave in the room would also have been nice.

Over promissed under delivered.

Housekeeping should get a proper training or at least a worksheet of tasks what to do, to make sure the room is spotless and to guests expectations. Many in Hotels.com advertised services , like the daily cleaning of the room ...doesn't exist. If you lucky ...every 3rd night....but if you expect the change of the bed linen...you need to request it extra. Full service wellnesscenter ( massage) ...doesn't exist. Locker room neglected. No keys for individual locker. No soap or shampoo in shower. Roof terrace...only to be used for breakfast service.

Llegamos en la noche de nuestra reservación y el cuarto del cual ya habíamos hecho el check-in virtual, lo habían dado a otras personas. Esto nos enteramos al llegar y abrir la puerta de un cuarto con personas adentro, durmiendo. Su solución provisional fue darnos una habitación individual esa noche. Se nos indicó que habría un reembolso el cual nunca sucedió. Decepcionante.

Der Eingangsbereich des Hotels wirkt mit dem "Daunenambiente" etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig - aber das Zimmer war top. Neu, geräumig, modern eingerichtet, sehr gute Matratze. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück hatten wir nicht, insofern ist keine Aussage möglich. Für uns insgesamt auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.
