I booked this hotel at 4 pm on the day of my stay. I arrived at the condo, not hotel as advertised, to find it locked with no access to the unit. After finding a phone number for The property manager they told me I have to drive to another town to pick up keys for the unit, this was an unreasonable request. The location was in the Rocky Mountains and driving a half hour through the mountains to pick up keys is not acceptable. Not to mention the directions had over ten turns and the office with the keys was closed. Result was no keys, no room. I had to stay at another hotel.
If you go to Rocky Mountains own website they do not accept reservations less than 2 days in advance so they have time to arrange for keys and access to the unit. Yet with hotels.com they take same day reservations with no way of getting keys to the customer.
This boarders on fraud, they refused my refund stating that I was past their cancellation time, of course I was, I booked it just hours before my arrival yet they knowingly had no way of getting me access to the room they sold me. One of the worst companies I have ever had the displeasure of meeting.
