My recent stay at the Red Roof Inn was very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The service was terrible—staff were overbearing and seemed more focused on billing us than providing a good guest experience. We even received an unsolicited wake-up call at 8:30 AM because the front desk was worried about extending our stay and charging our credit card. When we decided to stay an additional night, they charged us a $22.50 fee per room just for a late checkout at 12 PM, which felt unreasonable and unnecessary.
On top of the bad service, the hotel’s cleanliness was far below acceptable standards. The rooms felt poorly maintained, with noticeable dirt and grime. It was clear that proper cleaning wasn’t a priority, and this only added to the discomfort of our stay.
Between the lack of cleanliness and the unprofessional service, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. I will not be staying at Red Roof Inn again.
