When I booked the hotel I left a message stating I had two large dogs and wished to be notified if there was anything I needed to know. No response.
When we arrived Shamar, the manager (according to him), told me I owed $150 for the dogs to stay. The website has no written fee for the dogs. I had him look and when he couldn't find anywhere that it showed a fee he told me that "everyone knows there's a fee."
He then told me that because I used hotels.com, it wasn't there problem and I'd have to contact them.
I'd been on the road for 12 hours at that time and he was refusing to check me in without the dog fee, though the room was pre-paid. He finally offered to charge me for one dog, which I paid, but I still have a sour taste in my mouth over the way I was treated.
If you don't book through their website, you are a second class guess, less important than other guests.
There is no mention of a fee for pets, only "Pets Welcome."
I would not recommend this place for several reasons, but mostly because there is no empathy for guests who have been on the road for a long time.
