You gotta stay here!
This is a beautiful hotel in downtown Ponta Delgada with easy access for walking the shops and marina. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The family room is particularly wonderful for bigger groups.

Wonderful Stay at Octant Ponta Delgada!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Octant Ponta Delgada, and it was an amazing experience! The hotel is beautifully designed, blending modern comfort with a warm atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The location is perfect for exploring Ponta Delgada and the rest of the Azores. I highly recommend Octant Ponta Delgada for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. I can't wait to return!

This hotel was one of the nicest I’ve ever stayed in and was just what I needed. I stayed in a suite and was on the top floor. The views were wonderful from the living area and also the bedroom. Opening the curtains in the morning and seeing the water was breathtaking. I loved the yoga mat and exercise equipment in the room which I used and appreciated the inclusion of the minibar that was replenished daily. The bathroom was huge with well stocked amenities, the only thing I’d say is there are no hooks apart from in the toilet, so when having a shower there’s nowhere you can hang a towel to easily grab it after. Breakfast was ok, good selection of hot and cold options. I also had dinner at the restaurant one night and a drink in the rooftop bar, both were quite average. The staff at the hotel were wonderful, the person who checked me in and out was so helpful and through having passing conversations with the staff they suggested activities for me to do around the town, which I loved. The porter from Brazil was also very helpful and friendly. Every member of staff I interacted with was a shining example of attentive but not overbearing service. Thanks for a memorable experience!

This is a perfectly adequate hotel. They have A LOT of staff who are friendly and attempt to be helpful. The communication among the staff is lacking. A few examples are at check-in we were encouraged to attend the "welcome" wine and cheese at 6 PM. It turned out you have to sign up ahead of time and they only have space for SIX people. I signed up for a nassage at the front desk only to turn up at the spa 10 minues early and be told that someone else with a name similar to mine had already checked in and they couldn't accomodate me. We checked our bags and the concierge told us we didn't need tags. When we came back to retrieve our bags we were asked for the tags. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 10 PM for "turn down" service. When we didn’t answer the door quickly she came into our room. The next day she came at 6:30 PM and I asked her to come back at 8 PM. She never returned. On a positive note the breakfast was great. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was very good. All in all it was a fine hotel with a some wrinkles.

Quiet nice. Lots of amenities including restaurants, wine cheese tasting booth, valet parking, roof top pool bar. Staff are very accommodating. Situated central to island exploration (recommend renting a car away from the airport like Wonder Island Rentals, can be a long wait otherwise). Close to shopping and other restaurants, is on the end of the tourist strip, opposite old town.
