Very Average

Food was very average, very little fresh fruit available. Most drinks were pretty bad with terrible sugar mixes used. Bad location for adult pool - it is directly across from the kids pool... We booked hydro therapy at the spa - extremely disappointing! They were completely unorganized, sauna was not turned on and ready for us. There was no guidance or assistance, hot tub wasn't very hot...

We really enjoyed our stay. We ended up upgrading to Privilege and got a roof top suite, which was amazing. We loved it! I like tequila, so upgrading to Privilege was worth it for the high end alcohol. It was nice having a butler to help answer any questions we had and they took care of booking dinner reservations. The food was great and we like the large property so we can get our steps in, but also love that they have a golf cart train to drive people to the beach or lobby.

The property was beautiful, staff friendly and very helpful. Pools were very cold, we opted for the ocean instead. We stayed in El Beso- Adult only. I had to ask to be moved as my room was directly in front of the pool, with the music blaring all day, way to much for this old fart!. We upgraded to swim up rooms, would never do again, waste of money, pool in front was small and freezing, no sun all day. Looked pretty but not useable. Rooms very nice and cleaned each day. Bar wasn't stocked regularly and only offered canned beer, yuk. That was ok though as you could go anywhere and get a beverage. Food was standard all inclusive. Did not have one meal that was memorable or wow, but neither did we have any meals that were gross. Best food, at the beach, good burgers and pizza and the view was stunning. The reservation restaurants were hustling you in and out only allowing 1 hour per group. Night club was ok, need to upgrade their music, stuck in the 2000's for sure, same songs on repeat but again it was ok. One thing I didnt appreciate is the wolves at the lobby of the restaurant trying to sell you on time share or investments on future resorts. As many times as I said no, they kept uping the anti with more free things. I think its rude, I am paying my dollars to go to your resort to be hounded by people trying to sell me stuff. Complete turn off! I would go to this resort again sans high pressure sales staff!

We loved this resort for it's well designed spaces, clean and spacious rooms and excellent food. The property is very walkable and has all the things you need to enjoy your stay. The beach front area allows for long walks, which we loved and the spa services were excellent. A couple downsides included the inability to make dinner reservations ahead of time which resulted in some long waits and it is not an adults-only resort. The El Beso section is adults only, but that only included a building of rooms and a pool. Once you leave the pool area, it is a family resort with children everywhere. This includes all dining, entertainment and the beach. We wished we would have known that ahead of time because it would have affected our decision about booking. Overall, it was a lovely stay and recommended if you're good with the family aspect.

My stay at Ocean River Paradise in El Beso was absolutely amazing! Everything about this trip was perfect and truly enjoyable. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, exactly what I was hoping for. The hotel facilities were fantastic, and the restaurants served delicious food. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, always ready to help with a smile. I also loved the entertainment and activities the hotel offered—they really made my trip unforgettable. Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to all my friends!

We loved the stay, front desk was not very helpful. Very confusing on the restaurant information, one day says closed but it was open. It was a challenge reserving on a restaurant. The swim up bar was the best, specially Ives and Neley, both very helpful and awesome!!

For the most part, the property was clean. The staff was friendly. However, we didn't like how many people on the property approached us to try to add on to our bill. The restaurants were below average, and the food was not great. This being said, we enjoyed our stay and spent most of the time at the pool.

El Beso was a nice all inclusive resort that was very accommodating to our needs. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and the dining options were pretty good. There was entertainment throughout the day and something to do at night.

This property was gorgeous with many entertainment options! The only complaint we had was that the beach could have been slightly nicer. We stayed at El Beso and had a fantastic time. The bartender, Edgardo IS THE BEST!! The food at this resort was definitely better than most resorts. Fatama with guest services was also so kind!
