Brilliant!

Just a perfect stay. The building is amazing and the rooms are stunning. Ilzebet was the best host and made sure the stay was memorable. Take breakfast facing the mountains - really a memorable stay.

Fantastic Location with parking, staff that go the extra mile, every detail goes beyond what is hoped for. Rooms are perfect, beds comfortable even complimentary Sherry for a Nightcap. Can’t rave about the breakfast enough. Felt totally spoilt. Thankyou!

Clean, spacious room with a bathtub as well as a walk-in shower. The owner was very welcoming and was in contact a day before arrival making sure that everything was ready. In fact the room was ready before check-in time. There is secures parking. Please note that there is a church across the road and the bells rings on the half hour and hour. I'm a light sleeper so heard it at 3 in morning and at 6 whereas my partner did not hear it.

Nice hotel with many dining options within walking distance. Breakfast was okay quality and plentiful. It’s a historic building so expect quirks and creaks. Staff are very nice!

Wonderful and comfortable

The manager and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is very charming and service is top and classy touches. In the center of town close to all restaurants and bars as well as art galleries. The breakfast was very well presented and the best omelettes I e had in a hotel ever.

A great, quaint guesthouse in the heart of stellenbosch. Room was clean and beautiful, breakfasts were very good and high quality. The staff were so welcoming and warm. We would definitely return!

At the I booked I didn’t realize how perfectly located this property is. Park in the gated lot across the street. Shops, museums, botanical garden, and the delicious Fat Butcher restaurant are all within a few minutes walk.

Brief stopover in Stellenbosch...........

Just wanted a quick stopover whilst we visited some specific vineyards in the area and had walked past the hotel in the past. A small, comfortable hotel with spacious rooms. We had booked a Heritage View Room (on the 1st floor overlooking the church) but we put into a garden room which, although it had a private patio, had no views at all. We only realised once reception had closed and as we were only there for one night, didn't cause a fuss about it. Breakfast was lovely and the service great. Safe, secure parking across the road with security. If you don't need a pool but want to be in very easy walking distance to restaurants etc. stay here.

Simplesmente perfeito!

Recomendo fortemente a The Hoek Manor! Foi uma experiência incrível, desde o check-in até o último minuto na propriedade. Como chegamos a Stellenbosch à noite, fora do horário do check-in, recebemos uma senha para entrar no local, com todas as instruções necessárias para chegarmos ao quarto e estacionarmos o carro. O café da manhã é simplesmente maravilhoso, feito na hora especialmente para você (o local não oferece café da manhã continental, o que torna a experiência mais personalizada). O quarto é um assunto à parte: amplo, com armários enormes, banheiro igualmente grande, ar condicionado quentinho (no inverno faz diferença), cama king e muitos travesseiros. Também encontramos no balcão: café solúvel, cafeteira Nespresso, vários chás e sempre um chocolate ou bolinho para acompanhar. A impressão é que estamos hospedados na casa de alguém querido, que se preocupou com cada detalhe da sua visita. Certamente voltaremos a Stellenbosch, que é linda, e à The Hoek Manor.
