Tiny rooms, heat/air was slow to change, no amenities in the room (mini bar /coffee), no front desk just kiosks. All the restaurant and bars are closed until the evening only thing open was a very crowded juice bar. Over all yes this is a trendy hotel, I think I’m much more interested in a boutique hotel. On the positive end their blackout curtains (when they didn’t get stuck) were incredible those deserve 5 stars.

Fräscht och fint rum. Hotellet var väldigt coolt inrett och främst unga hotellgäster.
Väldigt bra utsikt om man betalar för det.
Bra frukost som tyvärr inte ingår.

The hotel is in a terrific location and right next to 2nd AV mta station so travel to and fro is easy using the subway. The views from my high floor great view queen room 1439 did not disappoint. We had the reverse aka landside view of lower Manhattan skyline. Room was decent size given Manhattan.
The Roof was great, but there was some corporate private event in progress so did not stay long. Please note that you need to go to Lobby level to get to the 18th floor rooftop. There will be a manned elevator to take you up.
The big negative is complete lack of front desk service. We asked for an extra blanket that never showed up. Room service was great though, but they could not help with any requests (which is the norm and they pointed us to the front desk). Their app is a joke so don't bother. There is also no hot water kettle or coffee/tea in the room. However, Embriago Cafe, one and a half blocks over proved to be the key for an old timey cafe experience in the morning! So check that out.
If you do not need service or any extra items then stay here. It's close to shops and restaurants and is modern and clean. Get a higher floor room. But do not expect any front desk service for any extra requests.

Parking garage off site on a sleepy Sunday evening (no on site valet) made a lot of hay about how they have a right to not accept my pickup truck. If you’re looking for an experience like that consider using the hotel lot.
Check in is 100 percent self serve. As in you make your own key and navigate an iPad and hope everything is correct. If one key doesn’t work (in my case) you might get stuck in an elevator for a ride up and down but at least you might make a new friend. One strong suit is this property used to be staff attitude (super upbeat and warm in late 2021, a real low point in the history of staff morale). Now instead you get an iPad.
Downstairs cafe would not serve cut fruit at 1130am, had no iced or cold coffee options except hot over ice, and the service vibe was decidedly inconsistent with this hotel groups typical standards.
HVAC in my room was set to cool at 67 or 66F and could not be turned to warm. Turning it off the room did not change temp during my entire stay which made it so cold and unpleasant I decided to go home and sleep in my own bed.
Sadly this will be my last stay at this property. Would rather pay more for a more reliable and seamless hospitality experience

Everything looks nice and all. But the majority of the staff is extremely rude and acting like they don’t want you there.
Was blown away by their behavior. Seems like an adult/professional manager is missing.
