Fake photos, rude staff
Do not trust the photos for standard rooms. That is not the real size and format for the rooms you are gonna get. Only one room is like that in each floor, and all the other rooms are much smaller, but the hotel still put the room to deceive customers into booking. It’s understandable that hotels in manhattan are small. It is not acceptable to use such scheme to misguide people into buying.
I talked with the staff and got a tiny amount of compensation, and I was hinted it was the website who put the photos. So I accepted that compensation. But later after I checked out, the website would me it’s the hotel who is responsible for the photos. I talked to the hotel again, wanting to make sure they do something to stop it, but the staff again just don’t give a damn.
Some staff I talked to are generally very cold and apathetic, superficial on the surface, and don’t have a heart for customers’ wellbeing. I encountered a very rude African American lady in the front desk who kept showing behaviors equal to rolling her eyes at me and signing after I finished talking like I was being unreasonable and stupid when I confronted about the photos, even though the hotel was the one who did this to customers.
Worst hotel experience ever in the whole world. Totally not recommended.
