This is a nice all inclusive option, which I'm assuming had a higher volume of kids than normal due to spring break timing. It is more of a true hotel feel, planted right onto a great beach, as opposed to a more serene and private tropical getaway like the Hyatt Ziva down the road which I've stayed two other times. The food at Hilton is really good (and I'm picky), great options like Sushi and Asian fusion, Mexican, steak, etc. and quality is high. Love the food truck options in the afternoons to get a burger or our favorite was the freshly grilled short ribs and rice & veggies. There are a lot of puts and takes with this place, I think for the same money go to Hyatt Ziva, or if you want to get outside of the all inclusive options, maybe the Conrad or other places in Punta de Mita might be better suitable. Overall very happy with the stay though.
