No on-site parking, horribly maintained room. If you are staying for 1 nite to go see a show at The Casino Ballroom, it isnt bad. But The Janmere is MUCH better, and is right behind The Casino

Good night sleep with gorgeous view of ocean!

Location and patio are awesome! Prime for people watching while offering some privacy with the dividers. Very comfortable bed and good working AC. Very helpful staff during check in. Be aware that your first steps inside will be up a large flight of stairs to get to the lobby. Room, bathroom and shower are very tiny. Thankfully it did not rain. Lobby area is used by owner like a living room. Not really setup for guests to use. So in summary, if you're not looking to spend much time in your room or around the hotel it's a great place to stay!

Last minute stay at the Moulton

Last minute decision ro spend the weekend at the beach. Got a reservation at the Moulton. I knew before we got there that this was one of the older buildings in Hampton Beach. That it was , however, the price was right, it was close to the beach., room was clean with a comfortable bed, and clean bathroom. The owners were super sweet and even offered to park our car and help carry in our bags. Breakfast was included, cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, muffins , bagels and cream cheese. Coffee and orange juice. We had a great weekend. We could walk everywhere. Also enjoyed sitting on the front balcony in the morning and later at night. If you are “high maintenance “ this isn’t the place for you. If you just want a place to sleep, shower , and be close to the beach and the boardwalk , this place fits the bill. I would stay again.

The room was okay.balcony door didn’t close. The shower curtain didn’t work It was water everywhere. I have to clean after I took a shower. They need to vacuum every everywhere. Breakfast was good. The view was very nice.very quiet overall, I like it. Will definitely stay there again. The bed was very comfortable very nice clean sheets, but the air conditioner too much noise.

The hotel is falling apart. The breakfast included. Is not even a breakfast. Is old pastries. The coffee was watery. The bathroom the shower water comes out. I needed more toilet paper. No one listened so I had to go to the store to buy some. Please don’t waste your money here. I was very disappointed.

Great stay

A historical treasure hidden in the heart of Hampton Beach. Entrance is tucked between 2 stores on Ocean Boulevard and could easily be missed. Parking is off site but easily found on B street just a few feet from the hotel. This hotel was one of the grand hotels of it's day and retains many of the features that made it popular. This makes it a little dated but special and it is kept up well. Reasonably clean but they need to remember to clean the balconies . The beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows and the AC works well. The 1st floor balconies are very small but functional and it suited us well as we are people watchers and were right above the busy market place on Ocean Boulevard with a clear view of the beach.

Stay away

Stay away from this place. Falling apart. Hole in the plaster ceiling in bathroom. Luke warm shower. The whole bathroom was tilting away from the main building as was the small balcony. We booked for 2 nights but booked another place for the 2nd night. No refund but a voucher for the night we missed and 3 days later no voucher in my email account or anything. Not that we would stay there agin.

Caveat Emptor Terrible, dirty, rundown property. Staff doesn't speak English, wouldn't print a copy of receipt for me. I was overcharged with no prior notification.

Beginning of season

Beginning of season. Had to run the hot water for a bit to get it up to 2nd floor since we were only ones there, but the friendly service makes up for it. And yes we did a polar plunge 45 degree water and 65 degree air temp. Walked across street and in hotel.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Mold in the bathroom, dead bugs in the refrigerator and so much dust on the TV wires looked liked it hadn’t ever been cleaned. The hotel stated a free continental breakfast. There were so many of what I’m assuming were fruit flys on the breakfast foods disgusting

The Hotel was ok. It needs a drastic update. Everything seemed flimsy. But it's an older hotel so I guess it's meant to be that way. I was in the back and the stairs to get there were super weird. One step was a lot taller than others.
