My room smelled awful ... like pee. I was too tired to change rooms, and left early in the morning. The hotel is in a great location, and has lots of potential, but needs to be better taken care of. No excuse for a room smelling as awful as mine did.

I killed many cockroaches and other bugs. The comforter was a shower curtain. The AC unit didn’t work properly. The bathroom has very rarely or never been cleaned. The staff didn’t say a word to me when checking in or checking out.

The room was so nasty. The floor was not vacuumed or swept; debris was everywhere. We found a half smoked cigar in the chair and a mostly smoked joint on the balcony. The bottom of the shower curtain was moldy. The view is beautiful- it overlooks the lake. Parking was easy probably because no one stays there because it's gross.

the hotel was nice. nicer than I expected. my view of the lake was blocked by a view of a old broken down bar. that was a bit disappointing. but the room was clean. there is a great restaurant walking distance. and it was quiet and safe.

The only problem we had was about 230am we were all awakened by a couple fist fighting outside our door. Praying the entire time they didn’t shoot one another. After talking to the owner the next morning he said that stuff doesn’t usually happen. He was very kind. We will stay again.

It was a clean room and had an amazing view if the lake! The beds definitely need to be bigger if 2 people are sleeping in them! They need to get atleast queen size beds in all the rooms!

Our Weekend In The Middle Of The Week!!!!!
Mr. Charlie was so nice. He had my reservation ready and had me checked in in less than 5 minutes. i work at one of the top branded hotels in the country....so im very picky But the pool was beautiful and was perfect temp...overlooking the lake(darbonne) and never once did he ask us to get out of the pool.....he let me stay in it until i was ready to get out. Although its not the Hilton!!! I freaking loved it!!!!! My people loved it!!!!! And i will be going back on my next off day!!!!!! See ya soon Mr Charlie!!!!!

The manager was very kind and made sure I had everything I needed especially when I ordered food to go and didn’t receive anything to eat it with. Showers had great water pressure! The air conditioner was SO loud coming on and shutting off. Our microwave kept turning on and off. We eventually unplugged it so we could sleep.

This was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay there again. It’s just a simple motel with outside doors, nothing fancy. It was very clean. The beds were very comfortable with clean crisp linens. The back of the room has a balcony that faces the lake. The staff was very friendly. The bathroom was nice with a big shower. It has a microwave and fridge. It does NOT have a coffee maker and they don’t serve breakfast. All in all we were very pleased.
