Great location

Marker 8 is in a great location on Anastasia Island across from old St Augustine. There are many good restaurants and interesting places to explore. The walls between rooms are thin and we could hear our neighbors voices and TV until 11 pm.

Good night

Last minute booking on a weekend, checkin was smooth, room clean, bed comfy enough- I would stay again. A little pricey, but I know it’s summer weekend in St Augustine … unfortunately the way it is. Nice view to relax by and Belinda was a pleasant server for breakfast!

Great breakfast

Great hotel with a nice view of historic St. Augustine and the Intracoastal Waterway. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Included breakfast is really nice. So much better than a chain hotel buffet.

This hotel was quaint and beautiful! The view was breathtaking-Bridge of Lions, boats crossing, city lights on the other side of the water, water birds walking along the coast…beautiful and serene. The room was nice, simplistic and clean. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was so delicious and Belinda the waitress was efficient and friendly. Breakfast at the Captain’s table was a great way to start the day. Didn’t get a chance to try the social hour hors d'oeuvres, but heard they were good. One minor negative is there was no AC in the elevator, and it does take a little bit of time to get you up to the 2nd floor.

Lovely hotel at the end of the bridge. About 15 minute walk into the historic area. Hotel is fab. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice spa area with sun beds. Breakfast is amazing and included in room price. They also serve snacks in the bar at 5pm. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony with a great view of the bridge. We will definitely come back. The hotel is great and St Augustine is beautiful. Free parking at the hotel is a real bonus too.

5 Stars – Loved Our Stay! Marker 8 Hotel & Marina was the perfect spot—right on the water with a stunning view, just over the bridge from downtown St. Augustine. Super clean, cozy, and the staff was so kind and welcoming. Great location, great vibe. Would definitely stay here again

The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. Our air conditioning unit was very loud and our patio door did not lock. We had a second floor room so the door really was t a problem. View was beautiful!

Nice hotel with clean, comfortable beds and a beautiful view of the water and bridge. Nicely decorated room and bathroom. We appreciated the glass not plastic glasses and mugs. Jessica checked us in and was very friendly and so helpful. She suggested a few places to eat and we went to both and we were very happy. We will definitely be back!
