The staff was excellent—very responsive and professional throughout my stay. However, I checked in at 3 p.m. and was surprised to find the air conditioning unit turned off, especially with outdoor temperatures in the 90s. I expected a cool, comfortable room but instead walked into extreme heat.
I turned on the unit right away, but by 5 p.m., the room was still unbearably hot, so I called the front desk. A staff member came up and adjusted the unit, and while cool air started flowing, it still wasn’t enough to cool the room. I remained uncomfortable and increasingly frustrated.
Later, a front desk associate brought up a fan and even commented herself that the room was "extremely hot." Unfortunately, they couldn’t switch my room as it was the only one of that type available.
By 8 p.m., I called again due to the heat. This time, they replaced the entire A/C unit. It wasn’t until around 10 p.m. that the room finally became bearable. So from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., I was stuck in an uncomfortably hot room, which negatively impacted my experience.
Aside from the air conditioning issue, the hotel was fine. But the discomfort really took away from what should have been a relaxing stay.
Personally, I believe some form of compensation or partial refund would be appropriate, given the discomfort I experienced due to the air conditioning not working properly for the majority of my stay. nothing was offered
