We made a last minute reservation for one night on NYE. We really appreciated the courtesy call the day before to let us know restaurant service in the area will be limited. The young man who checked us in was warm, knowledgeable, hospitable and funny. He also went above and beyond to help us find a new grill. The people in the market across the street were so kind. It has everything you forgot or didn’t think of. Our room didn’t have a private hot tub but we had the one in the common area to ourselves and utilized the sauna. If there is a room available with a hot tub pay the extra fee and book it! We were so relaxed and comfy in their firm pillow top bed that we didn’t make it to midnight. It was nice that they provided the coals for one BBQ. The gas fireplace gave off really great heat. Because of the heavy rains they’ve gotten, the trails to the coast line were a bit difficult to navigate and not soak your feet. Maybe pack some extra shoes, because walks on the property are so beautiful! We saw an amazing sunset, woke up at 3am for astrophotography, watched owls hunt for their dinner in the field just outside our room and then started our New Year’s Day with a beautiful sunrise.

Great place, pricey for an overnight
Staff were super-friendly and helpful with making sure our room was in perfect condition. There's a patio with a Smokey Joe, and they provide charcoal for you to grill with. Room feels spacious with its high ceilings, everything very clean. My one reservation is that it seems pricey for what you get. We paid $310 with tax, which seemed high, even with the option of using a hotel hot tub. That said, I'm not opposed to coming back.

Don’t come on the holidays
We came for Christmas and specifically called before to confirm the hot tub was working. We were told that there would be no one on site except for emergencies in Christmas Day, but that there were bbqs and briquettes provided for each room. We planned to bbq and had brought our Christmas dinner. This is a remote area without much open over the holiday. We arrived and the hot tub was drained. The front desk said we could use one on the patio of a vacant room. We tried that evening but there were no lights on ant all and we couldn’t find our way down there. Then there were no briquettes on Christmas when we went to begin our cooking. No one answered the phone or replied to my voice message. We tried the ring camera too and no response. Luckily we found a restaurant up the coast still serving. The next day, I told the front desk (different person) about our experience and said it was disappointing. He was very defensive and a little rude, then followed me out to the car to keep making his point, even though I said I didn’t want anything, just wanted to give the feedback. Such a beautiful place— we were sad the service and amenities were so disappointing.

We loved the coast access outside our backdoor. One can hear the splashing of the waves against the rocky shoreline. Vast sunset over the Pacific.

Beautiful property location. Nice clean rooms. Main Hot tub is not working, there was a 3-person hot tub that wouldn't heat past 97 degrees. Maintenance guy scolded us abt hot tub cover. Mold on curtain. Front desk staff was awesome.

Great weekend on the California north coast
Great stay for a night on the peaceful California north coast. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet weekend away. The room and bathroom was spacious and the grill was a nice touch. We brought burgers and grilled out under the stars.

Toilet and shower were not cleaned after previous guest; made me not want to use the dishes provided. Guest cabin was cozy and pleasant. Loved the open patio that gave access to a trail to the ocean. Every creature comfort provided, down to comfy robes, wine glasses and bbq with utensils. Would stay again.

I I really like staying here. This was probably my 4th Trip there. Very casual, clean and quiet. And right on the bluffs overlooking the beach. The store right across the street has really improved its offerings, with a full deli and beer on tap.

Beautiful little place near Timber Cove. Room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed having our own hot tub on the patio to relax and watch the ocean. The staff was very nice. It's about 45-60 minutes from Bodega Bay itself, so there's a bit of a drive for restaurants and shopping, but has a beautiful ocean view and was the perfect quiet place to relax and recharge.
