Das Zimmer war groß, das Bett war recht gemütlich. Es war ruhig und recht sauber. JEDOCH: ca.1/2 Stunde vor Check-In kam die Nachtricht einer Umbuchung aufgrund eines technischen Problem auf das Schwesterhotel im 1. Bezirk. Für uns ein Riesenproblem, der Standort des Hotels wurde bewusst so ausgewählt und kurz vor unseren Termin sollte alles geändert werden. Ein Anruf im Hotel führte zu nichts, es hat niemand abgehoben. Ein Anruf im Schwesterhotel führte ebenso zu nichts, da die Person am Telefon nichts verstand und ständig das Zimmer stornieren wollte. Da wir ohnehin schon fast da waren, sind wir ins gebuchte Hotel gefahren, um herauszufinden was los war. Dort wäre genug Personal gewesen, um besagtes Telefon abzuheben, jedoch bestand da wohl kein Interesse. Check-Ins wurden ganz normal durchgeführt und so fragten wir uns, was denn das große Problem sein kann. Es war dann klar - schlichtweg Überbuchung! Als wir der Rezeptionistin erklärt haben, dass wir nach dem Geschäftsessen um 3 Uhr früh nicht durch halb Wien fahren werden und das Hotel aus gutem Grund hier gewählt haben, meinte die Dame, dass man doch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln fahren kann. Natürlich! Ich fahre gerne 35min mit dem Nachtbus, obwohl mein gebuchtes Hotel um die Ecke des Lokals ist. Eine lächerliche Rückmeldung! Glücklicherweise hat sie sich dann recht rasch um die Umbuchung anderer Gäste bemühlt. Als jedoch Nachts die Zimmerkarte nicht funktionierte war der Frust schon sehr groß... Sehr schade!

Das Hotel hat einen guten Eindruck hinterlassen. Einzig der Toilettendeckel war leider etwas lose. Dass der erste Hund kostenlos ist hat uns die Wahl dieses Hotels erleichtert.

Boden ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Bad war sauber. Nur auf Wunsch wird wird das Zimmer gemacht und Handtücher gewechselt. Standard erst nach 3 Tagen. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig uns frisch. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gesamteindruck gut.

Da vi ankom kl 23.30, viste det sig, at ingen af de udleverede kort kunne låse os ind. Så måtte vi hele vejen ned fra 4. sal og få receptionisten med op, så han kunne låse os ind med sin nøgle. Kedelig morgenmad. Juice er ikke kold. Bacon er kogt. Buffet virker snasket. Kaffen fra maskinen er fin. Der blev ikke gjort rent under vores ophold. Værelse og bad var fint. Vi boede i afdeling B.

The room was filthy: the carpet was covered in stains, and the soundproofing was awful—every noise from the street and corridor kept us awake. For a supposed four-star hotel charging such a high price, this is absolutely outrageous! The booking process was a nightmare. We reserved a room with two separate beds but got one with a single bed, with the staff claiming two beds were “not guaranteed.” They insisted the hotel was fully booked, but that felt like a blatant lie! At breakfast, half an hour before it ended, we were the only guests, and the parking lot had just a few cars. Seriously, that’s your “full occupancy”? The key cards worked only sporadically, forcing us to constantly trek to the reception. There, we faced long queues and staff so slow it seemed like their first day. Every question led to a 15-minute phone call, only to hear, “There’s nothing we can do.” Fifteen minutes for an excuse? That’s just mocking the guests! When we, exhausted, asked to cancel the second night, they coldly replied, “You can check out, but no refunds.” The breakfast was abysmal, with the bare minimum selection of food imaginable and worn-out chairs that looked like they belonged in a cheap diner, not a four-star hotel. Dirty rooms, terrible noise, unreliable key cards, lies about bookings, and indifferent staff made our stay unbearable. elaya hotel vienna city west is a waste of money and nerves. Vienna has plenty of better hotels that actually respect their guests.
