Killing stairs

The stairs will killed me with no doubt with suitcases in hot summer. The reception (or I should say, the office) is somewhere in the other building. The staff came 15 mins after I called. The room was beautiful and neat, but the breakfast was pretty crap. And the coffee capsules didn't replenish for the whole stay. The kitchen was only available for ppl staying the other floor.

Hyvä sijainti

Hyvä sijainti Via Del Corso ostoskadun varrella. Nuhruinen rappukäytävä (ei hissiä) ja kulunut ja jotenkin kolkko huone. Ei sisällä ruokapöytää, terassilla pieni pöytäryhmä, mutta näin lokakuussa siellä ei tarennut syödä esim aamiaista, aurinko paistoi keskipäivällä muutaman tunnin siihen. Osa terassikalusteista lahonneita. Siivous oli hyvä ja joka toinen pv vaihdettiin lakanat ja pyyhkeet. Myöhäisempää lähtöä ei pystynyt sopimaan ja huoneen luovutus oli klo 11, plussaa se, että hotellin toiseen pisteeseen sai viedä matkalaukut odottamaan lentoa.

posizione ottima, a due passi da tutto

Affittacamere in una posizione ottima per chi deve trascorrere alcuni giorni a Roma e vuole muoversi a piedi. Il personale non è presente nella struttura ma quando avevamo bisogno abbiamo contattato il numero di telefono e subito mandavano qualcuno. La camera era identica alle foto spaziosa e pulita. nonostante la posizione centrale e il caos esterno la stanza era sempre tranquilla. Ci sono quattro piani di scale da fare ma questo già lo sapevamo e se siete persone attive sono fattibili anche due volte al giorno. I bagagli si possono lasciare il giorno della partenza alla sede principale in Piazza Navona (nella quale si può utilizzare anche il bagno). Se dovessi tornare a Roma credo tornei ad alloggiare qui

Excellent location, close to amenities.

Apart from the climb up the 8 flights of stairs this was an excellent place to stay at an excellent price. The room looks as it does in the picture; you get 2 double beds, air con, intermittent wifi, ensuite bathroom, a fridge and coffee making facilities (bring your own kettle, tea and coffee if you don't like it strong and black or prefer tea). The building is a little tricky to find but its just near footlocker and there is a brass plate to the right of the door with the name on.

prezzo qualità e posizione ok

camera piccolissima e al quinto piano senza ascensore, in compenso pulita e gradevole tutto sommato ci ritornerei, ottima posizione per turismo a piedi... direi un "7 e mezzo" se lo merita

Hotel advertises breakfast, but no breakfast :(

We arrived in Rome, and once we got to the location of the hotel, we called the number and someone met us there pretty quickly. When we checked in we were told there was no breakfast, which we had expected because I did my hotel search with parameters that included breakfast in the search. I signed a paper saying there was breakfast, but the person who checked us in to our room informed us that there had never been breakfast. WIFI cut out the last night I was there. Not sure if it was out of spite because the guy over heard us complaining or if internet was just down, but both my girlfriend's phone and mine was not able to connect.

Grei leilighet med to dobbeltsenger. Rent og pent. Rommet ligger i 6 etasje, ingen heis. Må ringe 15 min før innsjekk. Ingen parkering ved hotellet. Må bruke offentlig parkering langt unna (vi betalte 46€ for 2 dager)

The room was dark, the AC was really laud it wakes you up at night sometimes, Bed was not comfortable, there is no mirror in the room There is no shelfs in the bathroom , or even place to hang your towel ....... The only good thing is the location

Mala experiencia

Nuestra experiencia no fue nada buena en este hotel, nunca se comunicaron con nosotros por ninguna vía para confirmar nuestra hora de llegada, no sabíamos que no había nadie en el establecimiento para recibirnos, a diferencia de otros lugares que se comunican para aclarar este punto, no hay elevador en el edificio y es de 4 pisos por lo que subir después de un día cansadisimo es pésimo, un día solo tendieron una cama de las dos que había y no dejaron ni papel higienico ni shampoo. No lo recomiendo

Great location

Had a lovely trip & weather was a bonus - did a lot of walking but you don't realise. Definitely need comfy shoes in Rome!

Charming

Old apartment building in heart of town but only if you have the stamina for five floors to walk up to . Compensated by the charming decor and the large lovely terrace our rooms opened up to . Ask for the triple share room so you get two adjoining rooms

Fantastische plek, dichtbij alle bezienswaardighed

Veel trappen maar rustig. Voldoet prima. Fantastisch kitscherig! Schoon. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Inchecktijd tot 20.00 u. Wij kwamen veel later aan maar van te voren even over gebeld en geen probleem.

Tre netter i Roma

Etter å ha trasket opp handlegaten i litt for mange varmegrader kom vi til hotellet. Der ble vi godt tatt imot og ble veldig positivt overrasket over rommet. Rommet var stort, rent og pent. Hotellet ligger godt til rette slik at det er mulig å gå til alle de store attraksjonene i sentrum. I tillegg er det under hundre meter til nærmeste restaurant og isbar. Bor her gjerne igjen!

drukke straat, moeilijk te vinden

receptie op 6e verdieping, geen lift maar wel 103 treden op de trap, geen peroneel om bagage boven te brengen en na de incheck geen personeel meer gezien, uitchecken was blijkbaar niet nodig want er werd telefonisch gezegd om de sleutel op een tafel te leggen bij vertrek

Schönes Hotel im Stadtzentrum

Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Haupteinkaufsstrasse via del Corso. Ist mit der Ubahn bis Spagna wunderbar zu erreichen. Dort befindet sich auch gleich die spanische Treppe. Die vom Hotel aus in ca 5 Gehminuten erreichbar ist. Die Zimmer des Hotels liegen allerdings im 5. Stock und es gibt keinen Lift. Was im Juli bei 36 Grad ein bisschen mühsam sein kann. Allerdings machte das wunderschöne grosse Zimmer dies wieder wet. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer hat einwandfrei funktioniert und war auch wirklich nötig bei diesen Temperaturen. Der grosse Balkon war das Itüpfelchen. Dort konnten wir Abends noch herrlich den Tag ausklingen lassen. Auch der Service war einwandfrei und die Leute vom Hotel total nett. Ich würde das Zimmer sofort wieder buchen.

Great location, amazing roof terrace, 5 floors up

this place is terrific if you don't mind stairs, as others have said before, it's a looong walk up 5 floors, especially after a day out walking in Rome. however, the roof terraces make it worth it, your own little oasis high above the busy street. the hotel is about 30 min walk from Roma Termini, and about the same to the Vatican and Colloseum, 5 minutes from the Spanish steps. loads of great little restaurants around the area.

Noisy road, poor security, forbidding stairs

Only saw 1 employee when I signed in. Never allowed in the main floor of hotel; always closed, Non working coffee maker, none working AC never had any breakfast things replaced after 1st day's two dry cakes. Entrance to suite had cleaning equipment in the hallway. the two security doors : main one from the street and the main one to stair access both broken and any one could come in. Linens although very clean where threadbare. Soap and shampoo of the poorest quality. Refrigerator on floor to use as a table. Armoire rickety unable to open both doors. Writing table rickety and unable to use due to nonworking coffee maker and basket for non existing cont.bkfst. No trash can in room only a miniscule 1 liter size bathroom. Most of time there not enough wats to make lights work.
