Nice place to stay

We booked a family room for 2 nights, it was on the third floor without elevator but the owner was trying to help us to carry our luggage. I saw them tried to help every customer. The room was actually on the rooftop, half space for room and half space for resting. The table and chairs placed outside so you could and you only could eat outside. Location is good and the owbers were superb.

Let me say at the outset that there is nothing “wrong” with the property, it just doesn’t bear any resemblance to the 9.4 rating quoted by Expedia at the time of our booking. The lounge area is ok and the breakfast was fine but the whole place has more of a hostel feel to it than a guesthouse. Our bedroom was very basic and, whilst it did have the advertised bath, neither that nor the sink had a plug. We mentioned it to the owner and he just said “you’ll have to be careful”. The room also didn’t have tea / coffee making facilities and was very dated. So, as i say, nothing “wrong” per se, just lower your expectations based on the rating. Ps we were also shown a room that had been modernised but, to be frank, it was hard to tell the difference. And don‘t try to check in early, after driving for 3 hours we hoped that we would be ok arriving at 2:30 but were told to come back after 3

Don’t stay anywhere else in Olympia

The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The breakfast was perfect. The real star of Leonidaion Guest House is Damiano. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly and with lots of laughs. We can’t recommend Leonidaion Guest House enough. A tru gem in Olympia!

Perfect cozy hotel when you're in Olympia

Fantastic place to stay when you're in Olympia. The museums and archeological park are just a few minutes walk. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. My room was clean and comfortable. The bar and lounge are a great place to relax. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip.
