We had a wonderful stay with our little one. All the staff were really friendly and very accommodating. It's a lovely place that is undergoing refurbishment and you can see this in places with some areas looking a bit tired. However we slept so well and had an excellent meal in the evening with massive portions and also a brilliant breakfast in the morning. We would definitely stay again if in the area, thank you.

Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff, especially the lovely lady who served tasty breakfasts. Lively, cosy bar with a good range of meals. Very clean, comfortable room. Quiet little village, not too far from Marlborough which has lots of shops and eating places. I'd certainly stay here again.

This is a quaint pub with lots of interesting history. Although the accomodation is under renovation, the staff were highly accommodating and attentive which totally made up for any aspects of our stay which weren't quite up to standard. The food was delicious at both breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended and we will absolutely return in the future.

Lovely, quaint and welcoming.

I stayed in Withers which is a deluxe room, it was a very good size with plenty of room for me and my large dog who was travelling with me. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen and towels were good. I can’t comment on breakfast as I had to leave before 8am which is the time the breakfast service begins. What makes this place so nice is the staff who are super friendly and helpful. It is very dog friendly too. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely pub with rooms. Room was very clean and a high standard. Bed lining had a lovely fresh comforting smell. Small bathroom with a shower. Cleaned to a high standard too. Room had good supplies of refreshments. Restaurant was nice. Food was good and well presented.

Super freundliches Service-Team, versucht jeden Wunsch von den Augen abzulesen, besonders Cat !!!! Hat immer und überall geholfen, danke !!! Das Hotel und Pub sind urig aber sehr gepflegt, die Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen, wobei die wahrscheinlich den Charme ausmacht. Das Frühstück war seht lecker 😋 von richtig englisches Frühstück bis einfaches Toast mit Marmelade. Die Bar im Pub ist sehenswert, wir hatten das Glück einen Abend mit Live-Musik zu verbringen. Das Getränkesortiment reicht von Mineralwasser über Wein und Bier bis Cocktails. Der angebotene Mittagstisch ist sehr vielfältig und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Wir waren seht zufrieden Danke an das gesamte Team des Hotel "the crown"
