Staff was very nice, condition of room was OK, tons of bugs but you are in the jungle so I guess to be expected. Not as eco friendly as they claim - change towels even when hanging on the rack and only sell bottled glass water in restaurants even though they have filtered water, with no glass waste, they don’t offer it. TONS of children… not an adult holiday.

Truly aloft in spirit as well as elevation

An excerpt from my creative writing… The clouds kiss the jungle here. The air is fresh with hydrangeas, clove and coffee trees, and the horizon is transformed into a floating dreamscape. “Munduk” means “high lands,” and this place is truly aloft; not just in elevation but in spirit. Although we arrived under the cloak of night, morning peeled back the veil and we realised how different this was from the world we had just left behind. Jungle and sky, interlaced. Infinity pools that spill into the heavens. A jacuzzi that is so warm it might just hold the sun himself. Breakfast here is divinity on a plate. Farm to plate, with nutritious gifts that hum with the song of the soil, coffee grown right on these grounds- rich, earthy, soul-awakening. Everything here sings: the birds, the wind, the distant waterfalls, the quiet presence of something ancient, something wise. The staff here are not just hosts, but guardians of the lands. Our villa, perched above the clouds, feels like a secret whispered by the universe.

Overall, our favourite hotel in Bali despite the weather (unfortunately it was rainy season). The resort is amazing. The staff are very helpful. We stayed quite far from the front so the golf carts were available to help take us around. When you first walk into the room you're greeted by an amazing bathroom and coffee bar. I am just disappointed I was not able to try more of the coffee. Great coffee drinks provided at breakfast and afternoon tea. The onsite food was also good. We did not run out of things to do. The free plantation tour was nice along with our paid mountain bike tour to the waterfall. The activities program is extensive. We only stayed 2 nights this time but in the future we will try to stay for 3!

Hôtel sublime

Cet hôtel est incroyable. Nous y avons 3 nuits. Nous avons été surclassés dans la villa avec piscine et jaccuzi chauffés moyennement un petit supplément. C'était magique. La propriété est magnifique : un très grand jardin avec plein de plantations, un très beau restaurant avec possibilité de manger dans des coins intimes sublimes, deux piscines à débordements chauffées incroyables, et une vue terrible. Les plats proposés au restaurant sont délicieux. Un vrai délice. Bravo au chef et à son équipe. Tout le personnel est parfait. Toujours le sourire, serviable, efficace et aux petits soins. Merci en particulier à Arik, Putra et Riski, mais aussi à tous les autres dont j'ai oublié les prénoms.

Le meilleur hôtel que l’on ait fait à Bali sur notre séjour total de 10 jours. L’hôtel propose une réelle immersion dans la nature, au calme. Il nous offre aussi la possibilité de mieux découvrir la culture locale. Chaque villa est bien isolée en offrant une vue incroyable. Le personnel est complètement aux petits soins, avec une grande gentillesse. Les restaurants sont vraiment bons et les masseuses du spa m’ont proposées les meilleures massages du séjour.

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft in den Bergen von Bali. Wir haben uns dort sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Die Pools sind wirklich unglaublich und die ganze Anlage ist schön gestaltet. Der Buggy Service macht Spaß und erleichtert den Zugang zu dem verschiedenen Bereichen des weitläufigen Geländes.

Exceptional Stay in North Bali

My stay at Munduk Moding Plantation exceeded my expectations. I stayed in luxury suite and the the intentional design and details along with the amenities were everything. The views from my room and the infinity pool were stunningly beautiful and serene. The staff was exceptional making my accommodation feel like a home away from home. Roni was my driver for the four days. He was amazing! I would definitely come back to this resort.

Amazing hotel in a beautiful setting and lovely staff. The best infinity pool and the best spot to enjoy incredible sunsets. The food is also excellent, especially at their Balinese restaurant and the staff is lovely, especially Rikki and Dipa. Would 100% recommend.

Local onde a sustentabilidade é o conceito principal, valorizar e buscar parcerias com comunidade local é a prioridade, onde tudo ao redor é belo, suave ( honra realmente o significado “ Munduk Moding”). Bästa hotellet vi har bott på. Fantastisk miljö där man bor i jättefina rum med utsikt över kaffeplantagen. Känns som att man bor mitt ute i regnskogen. Väldigt god mat och superbra service. Vår bokade taxi dök inte upp morgonen vi skulle lämna hotellet och då fixade dom en ny på bara några minuter för ett bättre pris trots att klockan var 6 på morgonen. Dom var duktiga och lyckades fånga upp att vi var där för att fira vår femårsdag och bjöd då på efterrätt och fixade till en fin hälsning i vårt rum med blommor och choklad. Överlag kändes dom väldigt genuina och omtänksamma. Finns mycket att se och göra bara på hotellområdet och dom har också bra utbud på utflykter i närområdet inklusive olika vattenfall. Spat var också super. Vi gjorde även en tur runt kaffeplantagen och fick lära oss kaffeprocessen. Kändes betydligt mer äkta och bättre än turistfällorna kring Ubud. Skulle definitivt rekommendera detta boende om man vill komma till en häftig och lugn oas av lyx borta från kaoset i turistorterna.

das Personal war Spitzenklasse - um das Resort ist gar nichts, nur Natur pur. Das Frühstück ist spitze - an den restlichen Speisen im Warung und Restaurant könnte noch "gefeilt" werden. Die Treppen haben eine blöde Höhe und Tiefe und durch den ständigen Regen sind einige Wege sehr rutschig. Abendprogramm findet eigentlich gar nicht statt. Selten haben wir ein so nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal in einem Hotel erlebt - vielen Dank.
