Good price for a simple nice hotel
I am very impressive by this 2 stars hotel. Room is big and clean, location is in the heart of the tourist spots. The only thing is they don't have lift. You have to carry your luggages upstairs. Nice environment, many restaurants around the area. It is really a good deal.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great customer service! In the heart of the historical center, at one of the most romantic squares in Strasbourg. Close to many sightseeings, good restaurants and the river. Top location for people exploring the historical part by walking. We have parked our car in the parking across the river.

The location is amazing, I'd have loved to get one of the few rooms facing the little square where the hotel is located, but also my triple room enjoyed a very nice view on the Cathedral's tower. The staff was super-friendly. The facilities in the room could have been newer, but also were good for the level of the hotel. The rate also was good. Probably a little more attention on the cleaning would make the hotel almost perfect. However, we liked it so much.

Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sprachen alle gut Englisch. Die Stadtnähe ist sehr toll , 2 Minuten zum Münster.Jetzt negatives- es waren überall Spinnenweben im Zimmer. Das Bad ist sehr klein,ohne Lüfter - sprich sitzt du auf dem WC gibt es keine Möglichkeit zu lüften. Es Wurde weder im Bad gewischt noch wurde derTeppich gesaugt in den 4 Tagen in denen wir gebucht hatten. Im Flur roch es nach Essen. Frühstück war recht ok,gab jeden Tag das gleiche und keine Abwechslung. Kein Fahrstuhl im Hotel,mit Kinderwagen sehr beengt alles. Duschwand war defekt,es wurde einfach ein Duschvorhang davor gebaut,der auch noch dreckig war.

Not unless it's a last resort.
Due to road works, getting to the hotel and finding parking nearby was a nightmare. We called the hotel in the early evening to let them know we wouldn't get to the hotel before late evening. After having to call three times someone finally picked up and said there was someone there 24 hours. When we arrived in Strasbourg and tried to make our way to the hotel all of the road works going on meant it took us about 40 minutes - although we had called the hotel earlier he had not warned us of the issue we would have. Then when we finally just winged it and fell lucky to park near the hotel we called to ask where we should park as the Hotels.com site said parking was available nearby. Again we had to ring four times before we got a response. He was not at all helpful. We ended up asking a guy on the street and just parked on the street hoping for the best and not to be towed. When we got to the hotel the front desk guy was clearly the guy who I had spoken to on the phone. He was very aloof, not very knowledagble and also seemed not very knowledagble about the city either. Disappointing! The hotel was old and so I set my expectations at a low level. The location was great, close to all historic sites and in a lovely busstling square. The room was tiny - really for one person not two. The room was not very clean - carpets not vacuumed and hair around the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and seemed clean. If you are a couple looking to have a nice stay in Strasbourg, choose elsewhere.
