Staff really freindly and helpful, our room was rather in the need of a re-vamp. The flooring around the bed was chipped and lifting, the vaux leather on the bed base was peeling off, mattress and pillows were VERY soft and needed replacing, under the wardrobe had not been cleaned in a while, thick with dust

Good location but service not great
Hotel is in a good location, but the service was lacking. Check-in opened at 3pm and we arrived at 3:30pm to be told no rooms were ready and it would be about 10mins.
20mins later we were told the same thing, in the meantime plenty of other guests checked in and got there keys. At 4:20pm we eventually got the keycard without any apology.
The room was comfortable but very warm, the air-con didn’t seem to be working that well.
We didn’t bother with breakfast even though it was included in our rate so cannot comment on that.
We had the same member of staff checking us out as had checked us in and felt the customer service was somewhat lacking.

Dirty unkept room
Upon arrival at the hotel, we checked in only to be told our room type was no longer available and the only room we could have was 327, an accessible room. We dropped our bags in the room and left for our restaurant booking.
Upon our return we realised the bed was not a double but single mattresses pushed together.
The bedroom wall was full of stains around the bin area.
The toilet / shower room was awful.
No seat cover on the toilet.
No drain cover for the shower floor.
A hair bobble/elastic holding the shower head in place.
I reported all this at check out. The reply from the 2 staff …. “Thanks for letting us know, we will inform housekeeping. It shouldn’t be like that.”
That’s really not enough
This booking to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we are leaving so disappointed.

OK but !!
Hotel in a good position close to docks and Cavern Club cheap car park with discount from hotel £8.00 per night 2 minutes walk away,Hotel room a little worn and bed poor far too soft and unstable, we had been put in a disabled room at the very end of floor 3 but we are not disabled !! Was quite a walk the hotel staff blamed this on Hotels.com, on the whole our stay was ok but !!

Good hotel in good location.
Staff were great.
Only negative was a noisy roof top air-con unit or heat pump that ran through the night.

Great value for a night in Liverpool
Great value for money and conveniently located. The room felt a little old and in need of renovation but everything else was good including a nice range of options at breakfast.
