Excrément de souris
Il y avait deux grottes de souris sur mon lit. La personne à la réception était gentille. Une des fenêtres dans la chambre donnait sur une extension en construction. Le matin, il était facile d'entendre les autres personnes sortir de leurs chambres.

If your looking for a cheap place to sleep and not spend alot of time in the room than this place is for you. If your looking for a clean and nice room its not for you. The shower leaks water all over the floor, and theres mice in the room running around behind the dresser and mini fridge. Not what you wang to see when trying to fall asleep.

I had a terrible stay, our fridge was making lot of noise and we informed the front desk. They never offered to change our room and on top of it told us not to unplug the fridge. We couldn't sleep whole night, when i reached out to expedia customer service, they were no help as well. They told me they are 3rd party, why you guys are charging me? If you can not refund me?

We liked the area, lots of dining opportunities, close to downtown activities. Drawback was no parking, paid parking for a few vehicles in the back. Also the TV in our room could not hook to the service.

This is definitely the worst place I’ve stayed in many years. It is overpriced for the value, the place is absolutely worn down and should be fully refurbished. I will never stay here again. Further the hotel’s webside clearly lies when it posts pictures of the hotel and area around as very nice. The hotel website also says daily cleaning. There was no cleaning at all and I stayed for 8 nights. The toilet paper is so thin that you need at least 10 layers to be sure you don’t …… There is a tv in the room, but no channels, only option is to chromecast to the tv. The hotel is next door neighbour to a fire station and the fire trucks are never quiet whether it is day or night. I could. It use the a/c during night as it was so noisy. The only good thing is that the bed was nice to sleep in and that I’m now on my way home.

The Commons Inn is in a unique area of Halifax, within reasonable walking distance of downtown. The building appears rundown from the outside, however effort has been put into renovating and cleaning up the rooms. If you enjoy character- this lodging is for you.
