Wonderful stay

Was a lovely hotel in a perfect location, staff were friendly and helpful. Plus rooms very clean! Only downside if very hot theres no air conditioning, fans were provided though

Central location, relaxed stay

Very friendly welcome and quick to check in. Room was accessed via an external spiral staircase which may cause issues for some, especially if you have large suitcases. Room was compact, but well laid out and had everything needed. Some noise heard from the outside seating area for the bar, but otherwise quiet. Good breakfast in the morning with perfect poached eggs and a good continental selection.

Mostly good, great location

A mixed bag really. The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the centre of town, short walk to the shops or seafront. Very quiet. Room was comfortable but I’d say far too much furniture as there was nowhere to put two big bags until I stacked the chairs in the corner! Very nice bathroom although was forced to use the waterfall shower head as the rose one was inoperable and needed fixing. The bed was comfy but the duvet exceptionally hot. If you cant manage stairs ask for a downstairs room. The stairs to the upstairs units are only accessible via a skinny winding staircase. Had to drag our very heavy suitcases up them with no offer of help from reception, we are over 60 and my partner had a sore back so was left to me. Hmmm. Did eat at the Pickled Pig twice which was really nice. Breakfast was very good with very nice staff.

Lovely budget-friendly small hotel

Excellent location for shopping area and ferry port. Bus terminal nearby for exploring the rest of the island. Compact double room very tight space. Barely room to move around between the furniture. Big bathroom and nice shower(although the rain shower part of ours didn’t work). Delightful staff and excellent breakfast.

Quarto confortável em localização central

Quarto espaçoso, cozinha e sala bem equipados. Café da manhã muito bom. Localização central e próxima de muitos pontos de interesse. Hotel oferece estacionamento próprio, o que é muito conveniente pois o aluguel de um carro é um bim meuo de se conhecer a ilha.

Tout d'abord, il y a un pub dans l'hôtel. Ce qui fait que vous subirez le bruit des clients et l'odeur des cuisines. En plus, l'accès à notre chambre était compliqué, la chambre était assez grande mais donnait sur un mur de pierres et une petite ruelle où sortait fumer les employés et où s'évacuait les odeurs de cuisine. La cafetière ne fonctionnait pas. Il n'y a pas de bagagerie, ils sont stockés dans le couloir de la réception sans ticket. Nous avons petit-déjeuné dans une petite salle et le buffet avait peu de choix. En plus, nous avons découvert un insecte dans la salle de bains. Et la fenêtre ne fermait pas complètement, en plus de la chaleur de la chambre pour laquelle ils n'ont fourni qu'un ventilateur. Il faut qu'ils choisissent entre hôtel et pub et ça n'est définitivement pas ou plus un 3 étoiles

Lovely hotel. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Great location with a fabulous beer garden to soak up the sun. The staff made the trip special. Not to forget the amazing food!
