Step into ancient history at Al Haram, home to the legendary Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Great Sphinx. These 4,500-year-old monuments pierce the desert sky, drawing visitors to explore their massive limestone blocks and mysterious burial chambers. The golden desert light transforms these wonders throughout the day, creating perfect photo opportunities against the beige landscape. Authentic Egyptian eateries serve traditional koshari and grilled meats, while souvenir shops line tourist routes. Hotels range from budget guesthouses to luxury properties with pyramid views. Getting around is easy with Metro Line 2 connecting to central Cairo, plus abundant taxis and tour buses serving the archaeological complex.

Nazlet El-Semman
Nazlet El-Semman sits right at the foot of the legendary Giza Pyramids, where ancient wonders meet everyday Egyptian life. Camel handlers prepare dawn rides while rooftop terraces offer stunning pyramid views that will make your Instagram followers weep with jealousy. Family-run restaurants serve up delicious koshari and grilled meats at budget-friendly prices. Most visitors arrive via Cairo metro to Giza station before taking a short taxi ride. Accommodations range from simple guesthouses to mid-range hotels, almost all boasting those coveted pyramid views from their rooftop terraces.

Al Duqqi
Al Duqqi brings Cairo's cultural scene to your doorstep with jazz vibes, museum treasures, and leafy parks that beckon you to slow down. The Cairo Opera House anchors the neighborhood, while embassy compounds and the exclusive Shooting Club add international flair. Between cultural hopping, wander through the gorgeous Orman Botanical Gardens or dive into Egyptian agricultural history at the nearby museum. Tree-lined streets make exploring on foot a pleasure, with three metro stations connecting you to greater Cairo. Upscale restaurants serve both international cuisine and traditional Egyptian fare in sophisticated settings. New Museum Guest House Pyramids View
"Great location for view of the GEM + Pyramids in the distance - without the price of the Steigenberger Hotel. Don’t be fooled by the front as you approach. Very friendly staff! Our room was nice and clean, our bathroom was large, and the rooftop patio is is lovely with nice music playing. Food is prepared one dish at a time so plan to wait awhile. A nice served breakfast (not buffet). The beds was on the hard side for us and the pillows could be better but that wouldn’t keep us from staying again. It’s a great choice for the price paid!"
Pyramids Valley
"Dinner on the restaurant rooftop was amazing. Sunset views were fantastic and the weight staff were awesome. There is a huge construction project to the building next-door and unfortunately, they kept working well into the night which disturbed sleep quite a bit, but that is not really the hotel’s fault. The back breakfast was mediocre and more care and attention could be given to the cleanliness of the common areas as well as the room. Excellent location and right next to the ticket office, which is extremely helpful. Lots of barking dogs at night and of course traffic beeping but again that is not the fault of the hotel but it will disturb sleep. Overall, we enjoyed the experience, but the hotel could be a bit better with more attention to cleanliness."
Nut Pyramids View
"Absolutely amazing staff the absolute best lattes made fresh and the best Nile fish in Cairo!"
Marriott Mena House Cairo
"Overpriced, old rooms"
Pyraking Pyramids View Hotel
"The view from top is amazing. You look directly at the pyramids and spinxs. Staff was super helpful. If you want to enter the pyramids at the Spinxs entrance it is walkable. The pyramid view from room was kind of disappointing it's a tiny window and you have to stand and look out it to see them. It's not like you can lay in your bed and see them."
Giza Pyramids View Inn
"Good"
Pyramids View inn Bed & Breakfast
"The position of this hotel cannot be beaten. It has a front line viewpoint and from the roof where breakfast is taken the views are fantastic and give a full view of the 3 main Pyramids and the Sphinx. The staff were extremely helpful and arranged everything that was asked for and even accommodated a late check out without any fuss. The rooms are dated but the beds are comfortable and although the bathroom was small and needed updating everything worked without issue. At the price we paid you can’t really criticise anything. The area around the hotel could be intimidating to some so be prepared for not only the traffic and noise but for the street vendors trying to sell you something. Overall a great stay and if this is your destination and you’re on a budget you will find this hotel more than acceptable"
Neom Pyramids Valley Boutique hotel
"The hotel is very modern, clean and have the best view to the pyramids. The room was large and very modern designed with chairs and coffee table ( delux double room on. The 5 floor) Excellent location to go to see the new museum. Staff was always very kind and helpful. Breakfast has a lot of variety. Airport shuttle was helpful with nice new big car. We are already 4 x in Egypt and it was the best hotel we were in. We will come again."
Mamlouk Pyramids Hotel
"Hotel was clean, very large room. We did not have the breakfast and the half board dinner was adequate. We are vegan which is not catered to in Cairo in general. You could have plain rice and steamed vegetables but very boring. We stuck with the lentil soup, pizza no cheese and the baba ganoush with bread. The view of the pyramids from the upstairs dining area is spectacular."
