It was a convenient stop for us, and the hotel was nice. Seem to be a lot of movement because of the casino. We weren’t that impressed with the Dining choices/menu and so went elsewhere. But overall, we don’t have any complaints..

Everything was fine except we did not have a microwave in the room, even tbough when I booked it said we would. Unfortunately we could not eat the food we brought so it ended up in the trash. Not happy about that

Disappointed

We checked in after driving for hours, the check in woman was rude and impatient There is a massive glass partition - she couldn’t hear me- probably as there’s a huge partition - and was irritated so made me write down all our info on a scrap paper. There was no help with luggage - we check into room - lights burnt out- no kitchen items aside from cups- thermostat doesn’t work properly the room was very hot even though it was 10 degrees outside, couldn’t open patio doors as the road was too loud old TVs - can’t stream no app options just local channels- I guess the draw is the casino- we booked a 1 bed 1.5 bath suite - it was ok but I wouldn’t recommend if you’re not going to casino We ate in the pub - husband had pasta I had clam chowder - another couple behind us were loudly complaining how bland the food tasted - they weren’t wrong 😑

Everything was great except check-in

When we came to check-in there were two people working the front desk. One of them simply kept answering the phone rather than helping the people lined up in front of her and at no point did she inform the people in line that she wasn’t going to be assisting them. Eventually, after answering her third call in a row and ignoring the guests in front of her, everyone moved over to the back of the other line and had to start their wait over. I understand needing to answer the phone, but at least inform the people standing in front of you that you won’t be assisting them. Also, help the guest IN your hotel before using resources to help people calling for future dates.

This hotel was sub-par and I would not return. The outside was laden with cigarette butts and garbage. The parking lines were virtually non-existant. There is no room service. The worst experience by far was the shower. There is no way to avoid being shocked with cold water when turning on the shower as the control is directly under the shower nozzle and there is no way sidestep the spray when it is turned on; also, the stream was not strong and pity help anyone with long hair trying to get conditioner out. The soap, etc. containers were at the far end of the shower enclosure which was approximately ten feet long so there was much walking back and forth on a slippery floor . The fridge was the worst excuse for a fridge that I have ever encountered in a hotel and needs desparately to be replaced. There was no rack for a suitcase and lastly, we kept stubbing our feet and shins on the bed frame.

I was early and I had a business call to take, I did ask if by any chances my room would be ready, immediately Kim looked into it and got me in my room at least 2h before time. It was very much appreciated.

A great stay option in Moncton, NB

Had a wonderful stay at this Casino hotel within a walking distance from Magnetic Hill. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the amenities were well-maintained, and the staff was friendly. The hotel was much better than we originally expected. Great overall experience including time at Casino — would definitely stay here again.
