Have no complaints from our stay, staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. Room was updated and nice with a great view of the boardwalk and Seaside heights beach. Will be returning next summer!

Staff was excellent. Property location is top notch. Room was clean. If you need a clean place to sleep, have a dump, and have a shower all while being close to everything ….. this is the place.

The hotel is exactly what you need to stay in Seaside Heights. Pretty clean for a simple beach hotel, no fuss, just a straight forward place to stay. Bring beach towels, skincare and toiletries. You are really paying for the location. Located right on the boardwalk around the corner from the Jersey Shore House with a free parking pass provided at check-in, shopping, rides and games. Perfect for my family's 2 night stay.

Muhammad at the front desk was amazing! We were able to check in early for a small fee as well as upgrade to a larger room for a small fee because we added an extra person with us last minute! He was great about working with us to make sure we had what we needed! The room was a great size for a quick trip & was stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely return when coming back to seaside!

Overall a nice stay. Nice roof patio and coffee and food right there. Right on the boardwalk and far enough away from the rides to avoid the noise. Beautiful Oceanview!

Small room, very friendly staff. Parking wasnt at the motel but a block away wasnt a far walk. Right on the board walk and can see the Jersey shore house!!

The motel was better than I expected. It is of walking distance to all the nearest attractions. The beds were comfortable. There was remodeling happening when I was there. For the price, it was nice.

Love this place and the guy who runs it is just so nice. We get the top floor room right off the rooftop patio and he has had no problem coming up to help us with the tv. Very friendly.

Amazing you can walk right out and be on the boardwalk.. 2 buildings away from Jersey Shore house which is cool! The room a little dated but you don’t spend much time in there as you’re out and about. I would definitely stay here again. The staff is so nice and get you anything you need

It’s right on the boardwalk so if you’re going to be spending time on the beach or boardwalk for any extended period of time it’s very convenient. But it is really just a place to sleep. The rooms are very barebones, just a bed, end tables, a bathroom, and a small tv. It’s my understanding they may be renovating some rooms, but it’s definitely not a room I’d be spending any amount of time in other than to sleep.

The man at the check in office was very hospitable and polite. the room was not as large as i thought, however it was very clean so i wont complain. the only complaint i do have is that the parking was very inconvenient. beyond that, the location was great and the staff was delightful to speak with. would recommend to anyone who wants a few nights on the boardwalk

Positives: The deck overlooking boardwalk was a wonderful perk. The staff was very nice and helpful. Boardwalk grill food on property.Negative: The room and condition of stairs, halls etc. Room was pretty terrible- very small, dirty shower, patched wallpaper, dented minifridge, worst of all the sheets were stained and there was hair in them !! YUCK.

The room was board walk level and looked clean and updated but with non-updated furniture and appliances. the toilet seat was bigger then the toilet and there were no hooks shelves counter space to put toiletries towels etc. The tp holder was non accessible and not in use so paper stayed on the back of the toilet. The staff was accommodating, and the room was safe. The room definitely needs work to make it more functional and cozier. the room also needs a microwave and coffeemaker. As stated in the room accommodations. overall the price to the room was satisfactory. Thank you.

Love the view from the room. Room is about what I expected. It’s a shore hotel. It’s meant to be a place to sleep and change from beach attire to walking the boardwalk attire. Room was cleaned before I arrived as the smell of cleaning chemicals was very strong. Portable heater in the room as the room didn’t have a permanent source of heat, and even on low the room was comfortable at all times. Fridge was not plugged in when I arrived and I didn’t notice it right away and had a couple things in the fridge for awhile before I noticed. My only complaint is the bathroom had a near constant heavy smell of cigarettes. Check in/check out was a little odd as there was no one present. I arrived early and had business to attend to so I wanted to pay my balance and wait for the room to be ready. There seemed to be some confusion as to what I wanted to do and when I returned later in the day the key was waiting for me. Still not sure if my card ever got run. I often need to find a place to stay in the off season when I have to come to town for business and I can say that I would stay here again. Rates were reasonable and I liked being right on the boardwalk.

Amazing view but poor service.

We arrived to an empty office no one greeted us we waited for a while before I finally decided to look up the number and call and they answered and told me the key to the room was left on the counter to grab it and go to my room. Was never given WiFi password, the room was average the tv was small and barely worked. The walls between rooms were paper thin. As my family get ourselves situated because of the lack of sound proofing I guess the guest next to us called to complain because we were walking around in the room and talking.The person who we never met called my personal phone to let me know we are making to much noise and the guest next to us were complaining. We informed him we were just getting situated into the room. The only plus side was that they were pet friendly along with the view of the boardwalk and ocean. When checking out there was still no one in the office so I left the keys on the counter.

So we just got done with our stay at Hotel Charlie. The pros. Location is great. It’s right in the middle of the boardwalk. It’s quiet, and we did go in the off season. Easily accessible to the beach. Beds were comfy and clean. Now for the cons. Where do I begin? Place is run down and the room was dirty. Dust was visible throughout the room. Furniture looks like it has seen its better days. Parking lot can fit 5 cars maximum. There is a parking lot across the street, which they did let me park at. That was pretty small too. I get that it’s the Jersey Shore, and none of the places on the boardwalk look up to par, but this was ridiculous. I also got charged for an extra person at a whopping $116. They would not take the charge off. First night it was myself and my 3 children. Next night it was myself and 2 children. We were located on the 3rd floor so there is one staircase. Fire hazard?? Don’t look for food downstairs, the restaurant was closed the whole weekend. We made the best of the weekend but if I return to Seaside Heights I will definitely search for a different property,
