The hotel isn’t necessarily reflective of the immediate neighborhood. The room was spacious, but had a window unit air conditioner. The entire third floor was very warm 24/7, but it was also the end of August and a hot in general. When I got into the room, the air conditioner was off and the window was open. It took a while for the room to cool down, but once it did I just kept the air running until we checked out. The bed was comfortable, and they were different pillow options for firm or soft. The bathroom, however, was pretty small. Shower itself was clean and large enough, but the sink area was tiny with no counter space, though there were a couple of small shelves mounted above the sink. The bathroom had no ventilation either, so it got steamy and stayed hot for a while after each person showered. Other reviews noted road noise, but I didn’t notice anything, but that could be because I was on the third floor. Parking was no problem in the lot attached to the hotel, and arriving late at night there was an attendant on duty making sure that everybody who parked had a pass. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay, and it was relatively inexpensive, so I would probably stay again. The attached restaurant/bar in the lobby was also nice, but did seem to get really crowded and loud each night. It seems like a lot of locals were hanging out there.
