Venice San Moisè - Not worth for a 3 star hotel
The towels are very dirty. Smelly toilet. We knew that rooms in Venice is small, yet it is not a problem. We just expect clean and helpful staff in a 3 star hotel. We arrived after 8:00pm on the 1 July, 2011, and request for some hot water, the reception told me a 3 star hotel's bar is opened till 8:00pm, while a 5 star hotel is 24 hours. I asked for an adapter and he just said no, I'm really disappointed with such service attitude. Luckily that the staffs in the daytime are different, they try the best to find and find a suitable adapter.

Exelente ubicación, en un área muy comercial, el hotel cuenta con las amenidades necesarias, el desayuno muy completo y una área muy cómoda para desayunar, el personal de la recepción muy amable y siempre había alguien, cuenta con secadora de pelo, wifi. Gratis, desayuno incluído, y la temperatura del hotel estaba agradable siendo marzo, que estaba frío afuera, y el precio muy bueno por lo recibido.

Not a Room for Seniors
The rating given does NOT reflect our opinion of the hotel, only the room we had for one night. The rest of the stay was fabulous in a different room. I tried to add one day at the hotel. Our pre-booked room was not available so I took what I could get. Bad mistake. We are in our 70s and my wife has difficulty walking. We were not aware this room was at the top with no elevator. We climbed 50 stairsteps only to find when the door was opened there were 7 more steps inside the room. The bathroom was at the bottom of these stairs, the bed above. Mama mia. To use the fridge add 4 more. To top it off, the clerk changed to this room as a 'superior' upgrade. We did not leave the room except to check into our other room. It would have been too hard to climb back up. Definitely not a room for seniors.

Venezia at it's Best.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had the second best room in the place. The best one had a larger balcony for watching the non-stop show of gondoliers and singers below. The room was amazing with a huge Murano glass chandelier and beautiful furnishings. The hot breakfast was great with a chilled bottle of Prosecco for those who like to indulge. You could not ask for better hotel staff.

The staff were not helpful and were very short with us while checking in. The room was spacious with a great view but it was dingy and unkept and we were turned away when we asked for another pillow since there were four of us staying in the room.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every area. Unfortunately while I was a guest I experienced a horrific situation, ( unrelated to the hotel ). The staff immediately assisted me with everything I needed. I only wish I could remember the names of the staff members who went OVER & ABOVE to help me. In addition I had experience with their sister hotel and had an equally superb time. Employees & staff may be in a position to help guests meet their needs but I can attest that the staff at these hotels were empathetic and absolutely did everything within their power to help. Highly recommend these hotels in Venice for many reasons.

We went to Venice for our honeymoon and decided to stay at the Hotel San Moise due to its location and having a canal view room available. We were so happy with our choice! The staff was excellent. The daily breakfast was amazing. The location of the hotel in San Marco was amazing and everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance. I cannot express just how much we loved this hotel, the staff, and this location! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The property is outdate, for the price paid for 2 nights, extremely expensive against the quality. Just to access the room is a hassle, you must get your keys at desk each time, leave the building and find another building where are the rooms. Not convenient.

This was the most wonderful place to stay & experience Venice. The room overlooked the canals. The Murano glass fittings everywhere were stunning - it was in the middle of all the wonderful Venetian shopping and visiting - amazing!!!!
