I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on a business trip, and overall, the experience was okay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, but nothing really stood out in a positive way.
On the first day, I noticed that the shampoo bottle was almost empty. When I asked reception for a replacement, I was told I should continue squeezing out the last drops and that it could only be refilled the next day during housekeeping. On my second night, I returned to the hotel and was informed there would be no hot water. The staff offered to move me to another property either in the city center or in Ixelles 1050, but it was 22:15 and I had already booked an early morning pickup service from this location, moving wasn’t practical. I decided to stay, and the next morning found an apology slip left on the floor outside my room.
The room itself was generally clean, but a few details were disappointing. The air conditioner was covered in dust and clearly needed maintenance. The telephone was disconnected, making it impossible to call reception, and when I turned on the TV it still displayed the previous guest’s name, which gave a careless impression.
Overall, for a short business trip the stay was manageable, but the lack of attention to detail and small inconveniences left me underwhelmed.
