Reopened & I love this place
Wonderful. 10 of us from our company stayed here for a convention at the Javitz and it is super convenient to walk to/from each day. Most of the front desk staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, particularly Amanda and Terrence. This place is special. It’s not to be confused with a sterile national chain. Don’t stay here if that’s what you’re looking for. This hotel is quirky and I love that about it. As they’re in the process of reopening you might have an issue, but simply ask the front desk and they’ll take care of it for you immediately. Super convenient to Javitz, late-night shops, delis, and restaurants. Theatre and Times Square are also walking distance. I particularly recommend Capizzi’s Italian just a few blocks away. I can’t say enough nice things about this hotel and its staff. I will try to stay here every year and I hope you’ll enjoy it too.

Otimo lugar em new york, deixaram fazer o check in mais cedo, cama confortável, quarto e camas grandes, banheiros novos com ducha, funcionarios prestativos, deixaram fazer late check out sem custos e depois nao custa nada para deixar as malas. Localizacao muito boa, da pra fazer muita coisa a pé, e proximo as principais linhas de metro.

Hotel très bien situé mais le chauffage à revoir
Hotel très bien situé à NYC,une équipe de jeunes à l'accueil très sympa. j'ai pu faire un early check in et late check out sans frais. Le gros point noir de cet hotel est le chauffage qui fait énormémement de bruit et qu'on ne peut pas éteindre la nuit car la chambre devient rès froide.

Recommend unless prudish
Stayed for a week. Conveniently located. Very clean with friendly staff. Quiet but it was low occupancy and adjacent rooms were empty. Common areas looked great but it was too cold to use them. Art work is a little risqué which could be a pro or con depending on your sensitivities.

Horrible place to stay
Terrible, no heat or hot water for both days. No assistance with other accommodations and no refund or discount. Don’t ever stay here. Management is pathetic and won’t even return a call or email.

Excellent hotel for the price
There were 3 of us in the room. Everything was perfect for what we needed. The bed was good, bathroom was very nice with toiletries and just a bit off the main drag of Times Square. Everything was within walking distance. I would absolutely stay there again.

Just OK
The room was nice, a little cold. The hallway out of the room is right next to an open courtyard. It was really cold when I stayed in the city, so you walked out of your room into very cold conditions. There was no hot water the morning I checked out, other than that is was just an ok place to stay.

Coldest stay ever
Pros: walking distance to Times Square, subway and many other attractions. Very clean housekeeping made up the room every day. Nice hotel in general it has potential. Cons:no signage except a few pieces of paper taped over what used to be there. Very difficult finding it on our first night there. no hot water or heat in our room was told they were working on it. Stayed 4 nights temp was 50 in our room. Was not offered any discount for the room. Ended up buying blankets at Target to stay warm at night
