Its ok
Heard lots of dogs through the night. No one at the front desk. Had a random text asking if we could quiet our dogs when we didnt have any. Walls are paper thin. NO elevators and the steps are many and very steep. Internet didn’t work which also lead to no TV as well. It was definitely clean and comfortable but probably won’t return.

Great experience. It was cozy environment. The only downside is there was some remienence of trash in the trashcan itself. Also, the toilet had very low water pressure and would not go down when being flushed (don't know if it was clogged beforehand or what, but we didn't do it). Other than that i would stay again.

I would recommend staying here. Its very clean and quiet. The size of the room is larger than your average hotel room. Its really like staying in a studio apartment. Very comfortable and close to shopping and restaurants.

Nice hotel, smelly dog room
The hotel is nice, the staff was very nice and accomodating! We were teaveling with our dog, the room smelled so bad it smelled like a kennel.

The good - Location was great, pricing was great, room was clean and very spacious. Has an actual stove to cook. The bad - the room was listed with hair dryer but there was none. No free breakfast included, BUT has free coffee, fresh fruits and snacks. Over all, exceptional value for the price you’re paying. It’s also about 30-40 minutes fro Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.

Unique property as the owners brought Maine into the hotel, from natural pine smells to the artwork. If you are traveling to Acadia, don’t miss the opportunity to stay at this hotel. The room is spacious with beautiful materials

Stone Park was just what we needed for our stay. I missed the name of the gentleman but the person who was working the desk was very friendly and attentive. Offered some good suggestions for places to grab food. The lobby area also had a bunch of cookies, muffins etc which was a nice touch and the hotel in general was cozy with candles lit and added a nice scent. One downside is no elevator for the 3 level building but really not an issue for us personally. Room was clean and had a bedroom and a separate living/ cooking set up. We were only staying for one night but I think this could be a great option for people wanting to stay a bit longer where it has a full size fridge, stove etc. and with the location close to bar harbor and Acadia but a fraction of the cost of any other places you could stay in the area. Would stay here again without question.

Horrible experience
We booked 2 rooms and they said they only received a request for one and blamed it on Expedia. They were full and said there is a pull out couch that is comfortable and all 4 adults should be fine. Short version is all of a sudden they had a cancellation but they needed to get housekeeping to make sure the room was ready (6:30pm so if there was a reservation the room have already been ready!) we got the 2 rooms. Around 9:30pm our ceiling began to leak ALOT coming from the AC unit so bad we used 4 trash cans. Turned the AC off and it finally stopped. Another issue was when the toilet flushed the water leaked at the bottom. The front desk people were very polite but my gosh this was such a horrible experience. By the way, if you need the restroom go before u get there because there is not one available in the lobby
