Huge fail by Hotels.com
I booked at Hotels.com online a few minutes before 9:00, still an hour away from the hotel, and it was only when I finished my booking that they pointed out more clearly that the front desk was only open until 9:00 pm. I tried to call them, but no one answered, and there's now way contact anyone at Hotels.com. I will never use Hotels.com again. They did not make clear that the policies and procedures of the particular property made it impossible to meet the requirements.

Better options available for the money.
My room appeared to be clean, but the large (12" x 26") hole in the exterior wall under the window was unsettling! No sheetrock or insulation, just a big rectangular hole! Also, the bathroom fan did not work, so things got damp. While the rate was only a $100, it offered no value to me.

Desk clerk from hell. This hotel is clean and in a nice location in Anacortes and I had pleasant interactions with two of the women in the reception area. However, I attempted to extend my stay and one particular desk clerk was rude, deliberately misleading and unable to complete simple computer functions. He also lied about the hotels Expedia interactions, refused to seek assistance and insisted I had to pack up by 11am and change rooms because "Expedia assigns the rooms and we can't change them". Because of this experience, I chose not to stay another night though I had already paid for it ...I packed up and left. There has been no follow up from the owners, or a refund, after I followed up with a phone call.
