We had a lovely stay at the Buddle inn, all the staff were welcoming and very friendly, the room was top class and roomy with a comfortable bed and a large en suite. Tea and coffee, biscuits and water provided in the room. We really enjoyed our time here and would definately come again.

Comfortable room and friendly staff

Room very tastefully appointed, and comfy bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Good cooked breakfast but evening meal expensive and not good value -mariners seafood pie had only a few tiny pieces of salmon!

Good location characterful pub and a great room

Comfortable room nice bathroom with walk in shower. Plenty of car parking. Good choice of freshly cooked breakfasts. Quiet area with sea view from our room. Access to rooms via outside steps could be improved. Large outside seating area. Evening menu good but for us the portions were too big and there were no lighter options

Post Festival R&R

Lovely one night stay in this characterful, olde worlde pub, which has undergone recent refurbishment in a very sympathetic manner, therefore the pub itself, rooms & bathrooms are modern with lovely decor. We received a very warm welcome and all the staff we met were very helpful & accommodating. Rooms are accessed via a separate entrance (due to age of the property steps & paths are a little uneven in places) Very clean & spacious (our shower was huge) with lovely sea views. Well stocked tea/coffee tray including water, sweets & biscuits. Large fan for hot weather was very welcome. Communal hallway leading to rooms had wellies available for guests to borrow & a bookcase with lots of local information. We had lunch, evening meal and breakfast during our stay. Excellent menu & everything we had was of good quality and enjoyable, as were the drinks. Really enjoyed the jug of Pimms on the lovely outside terrace/garden area.

My 4 year-old son and I had a short break on the Isle of Wight and stayed at the Buddle Inn for one night. It was lovely - gorgeous accomodation, great food and welcoming staff. Wonderful memories made - thank you!

Perfect

Perfect in every way. What a location, stunning. Staff were so helpful. The room was gorgeous, very spacious, beautully decorated and everything needed. The bed was so comfortable. Breakfast in our room! Delicious. Nothing negative to say and now want to only stay here each time i visit. Thank you so much, it was a shame to leave, but i will be back!

Superb pub and BnB just outside of Ventnor. The staff were awesome, and the bed and room were really comfortable. The whole trio of Islander pubs / BnB’s on the Isle of Wight, which includes the Buddle, are a real treat to stay in, all of them are superbly well done and extremely welcoming.

Modern and cosy bedrooms. Staff are very accommodating and attentive. Nothing is too much for the staff and service is amazing. Really lovely tradition pub. Highly recommended. Beautiful sea view.
