DANGER! BLACK MOLD!
A picture is worth a thousand words so here’s a few thousand words in pictures! Nothing is perfect and I can live with some imperfections, but this place is criminal. My first impression was the pool. As you can see in the photos it was dirty and I wouldn’t put my foot inside. Then I headed to the room where there is a giant and dangerous hole right outside of the door. It looks like the ground is sinking. Inside of the room there was mold on the walls, ceiling, and on the mattress. I always check the mattresses for bed bugs and such, but what I found was black mold all over the mattress. The smell of mold was apparent in the room. I think the problem is that the mattress sits on a cement block and has no way to breathe; this is a problem in humid climates. I told the employee at the front desk about this and he said they would move me if they could, but they were sold out. I asked if he could guarantee that the other rooms didn’t have mold and he said he could not. The employee asked me to send him the pictures I showed him on my phone of the mold and I did. I thought this was odd because he could just walk into the room and take all of the photos he wanted. I suggested to him that he should go take a look for himself. I told him I was leaving and asked for a refund. The employee told me that he couldn’t do anything, but he would speak to management and get back to me. It’s been several weeks and I still have not heard back.

Hay limpieza en las habitaciones, lo incómodo de los baños que no tienen accesorios para acomodar los jabones o shampoo, el papel higiénico. Un cambio de cortinas en las habitaciones. La amabilidad del personal de recepción es amable, pero de la encargada o gerente es totalmente nada amable.

Bueno con puntos a mejorar.
Es un hotel con buena ubicación, cerca de una de las calles más bonitas de Playa del Carmen, desembocando ésta con una playa agradable para nadar. Sin embargo, las instalaciones tienen puntos para mejorar, como lo es el baño (no tenía tapa) y las puertas de los cuartos (con cierto desgaste la madera). De igual manera colocar un interruptor de luz cerca de la cama, ya que el que accionaba la luz general del cuarto, se encontraba en la entrada del mismo. Si bien no la utilizo mucho en mis viajes, la TV sólo captaba canales digitales locales, por lo que no era opción ver algún deporte o noticiero común de cable. La recámara contaba con refrigerador y el aire acondicionado funcionaba bastante bien. Estuvimos 2 noches, el día que correspondería hacer la limpieza, nos fuimos alrededor de las 10hrs, volviendo a las 17hrs y no se realizó la limpieza, nos la ofrecieron regresando pero queríamos descansar. La alberca es agradable, sin embargo casi no hacen limpieza, caen hojas y ramitas de los árboles que están, lo cual hace que a veces se pisen dentro del agua. (No es peligroso ni nada) Tanto el día de entrada como el de salida, fueron amables ofreciendo el servicio de guardaequipaje en el lobby.

Buen espacio en las habitaciones, la alberca es un poco pequeña pero no está mal, lo único que está muy fría el agua, tanto de la alberca como de la regadera, deberían mencionar que se pueden alojar 5 personas por habitación
