AVOID AT COSTS! Worse place I’ve ever stayed! Think dos house, knocking shop or hmo and you get an idea. It’s a self checkin which is a note with phone number stuck on the wall. You get a text with your room door lock PIN number. No staff on site. Room not clean, very basic,, the place is dropping to bits. No chance of any sleep, strong smell of weed coming into our room so it’s obviously being smoked in other rooms. Multiple people in other rooms obviously drinking smoking and being extremely noisy until 6am when they must of fell asleep. Another room sounded like it was being used as a knocking shop. Would never stay again. You’d be better off sleeping in your car. It was cheap but lesson learnt and will stick to premier inns and travelodge in future.

Don’t stay here, looks completely different
We first arrived to the door, no code needed, had no batteries in to keep door locked, every night was constant banging no clue why, room was absolutely a mess, felt like I was living in a shelter, tried to ask host on here for a room change but no reply and want to get refund but no reply and the bed and room was absolutely disgusting with 0 hygiene or cleanliness, do not come here it nots worth the money !

Pebbles - a squalid place to stay.
Worst experience I can remember ever having in a so called "guest house". Miserable room, insecure locks and in a poor area. Front doors had no working lock so ooen to anyone. Squalid building and dreadful bed and bedding. Shocking!

Hell visit
It was a nightmare.We checked in about 6 30pm after 20 mins getting in the coded doors. We put our belongings in the room then left to go to our daughters bday party. We didnt get back till 2am the door code wouldnt work then my 80 years old husband fell over as we were so tired and just wanted to sleep.My husbands face was all cut ,where blood dripped near the door.Luckily l phoned my daughters partner who came and got my husband and l.then we our granddaghter got her partner to come and take us back home to bmouth. Also our stuff is still left in the room.lm trying to get old of someone about this and we would like a refund.

Never Again
1 hour trying to get in via a code on the front door. Told via text My room wasnt available and they tried to give me a single room without bathroom in a partitioned larger room. The smell in the room made me turn around instantly. Finally , refused to give me a refund even though i didnt stay there.

6/10, good for short stays
This was a good place to stay for a short amount of time. Good location, short taxi to main town or walk to bus stop. Parking was free on a nearby road which is great. Check in process easy, received code & entered into electrical doorpad then a lockbox. The first issue was that the radiator for the entire stay was boiling hot & surprisingly for December we had to open both windows pretty much all of the time to get some air in the room as it was so hot. The second issue was both the lights in the bathroom were broken. Fortunately, after calling the number, immediately two members of staff came & sorted out one of the lights. They couldn’t sort the radiator but at least they sorted the light for us which was fab. The bedroom did smell a bit musty when we first entered but after a while it went away. The bedroom was clean and had nice decor. Unfortunately, the bed was very uncomfy and ‘crackly’ when you laid down on it. The bathroom was clean with only a little amount of mildew in the shower. Little shampoos and soaps were provided which was nice. The shower taps were wobbly and the shower door handles were very unsecure they practically fell off even when very gently closed. When we returned from a night out, there was a man asleep on 2 arm chairs facing each other inside the building in reception. This was weird as it’s a passcoded building and made us feel weird… Overall, it was a good stay for what it was but was strange with the man!

Would highly recommend…alternative accommodations
When I arrived there was no one (staff) at the accommodation, so I rang the contact number provided on a board on the wall in the entrance hall. This number went straight to answer phone with a message saying they were “closed today”. I sat on a chair in the entrance hall/lobby for a long time, panicking about what I was going to do, until an employee arrived - I think she may have been a housekeeper or something like that. I informed her about my booking but was told they had no knowledge of my booking. I showed her my confirmation email/message etc and she made a call to the relevant person. She asked about payment and I informed her that the booking agreement was that payment would be made on arrival. The room I selected was costed at £26.10. She said that she could take payment but was unable to issue a receipt. I gave her £30 but she said she didn’t have any change and so would endeavour to reimburse the outstanding £3.90 I was due as change from the £30 I had given her. I did not receive this, and so paid over the agreed booking price. Then I was taken to the room I had selected when booking, which in the picture clearly shows a television available and included in the listed room facilities. However the room lacked said television. The light in the communal toilet did not work and I was unable to have a shower because the communal bathroom was closed and on the door was a sign that read “out of order. Overall a disappointing experience, which I payed more than agreed

Extremely poor place to stay
Booked room, shared bathrooms so far away from room plus the light didnt work. Room stunk of cigarettes and was dirty so didnt even stay, had one look and left, spent night in my car in stead. Wouldn't recommend or advise anyone to stay. Poor would be an under statement.

We like the Pebbles guest house.We have stayed twice now.Very good value for money.Just one thing is the code on the front door we found it hard to open luckily someone else that stayed there helped to open the door so all was good in the end.
