My wife and I needed a clean and comfortable place to spend the night on a road trip between Dallas and Indianapolis. I used my travel app to look for decent, affordable lodging west of St. Louis. The combination of rating and pricing looked almost unbelievable, so I read the reviews. Encouraged by the reviews, I made the booking and I was not disappointed. The check-in process was easy and friendly and the room was spotless with no smell of covered-over cigarette smoke. (My wife is allergic to it.) The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well and awoke rested for the onward journey.
The amenities are very basic, if it makes a difference to you. There was a small fridge and a microwave. There was no coffee maker but you can buy a cup of coffee at the next-door restaurant. I went to the Philips 66 down the road and bought mine at a cheaper price. The bathroom was clean and nicely set up. Only the bathtub seemed old with some discolored spots, but I had a nice shower in it.
Bottom line: next time I need a place to spend the night west of St. Louis, I won't look anywhere else. Best room for the price I've ever found.
