I feel disappointed when getting back the 100 pounds, they charge me 2 pounds for service fees, that means I can get 98 pounds only back which is very unfair. And the bathroom provide cold water only, so I haven't taken shower for 10 days which is very terrible. And there is no individual water closet in the room which is inconvenient. I have to wait for a long time to use it every time. Also no breakfast is provided which is inconvenient as well. Therefore, I will not choose this hotel next time.

Don’t even think of coming to this place
I have been to quite a few average hotels in London, but this one was really the worst yet. There are too many issues to fit here, but here are the main highlights, pictures speak for themselves: - Surprise deposit of £100 to pay upon arrival, not mentioned in the booking T&Cs - When I arrived they told me that my room was on the 5th floor, right at the top with no lift. With double stairs, that’s more like 7 floors to go up and down. I asked for another room and they gave me the crappiest ever, borderline insalubrious - No WiFi, paint falling from the ceiling, chair completely scratched, carton box in the room, noisy fridge, NO MIRROR, way too hot and no possibility to open windows. Not mentioning the mold in the shower and dirty stains on the curtain - One of the shared toilets was dirty upon arrival, and still in the same state 3 days later, unseen anywhere else..!! Given the booking was not refundable, I had no choice but too stay at this place which I paid over £100 a night for, but which in reality should be more like £20-30 given the condition of the room. Please go somewhere, you’ll get much value for money even if it seems that there are very few hotels available. This one just isn’t worth it

Do not stay here
Stayed with my 7-year old son. Check in was swift but as we got to the room I noticed that our basement room had a window that didnt close, it had been locked while open and now it couldnt shut. The window led on to stairs up to the road. The staff told me that they lost the key and they had no other rooms to give me. Feeling very unsafe in a room with direct access from the street I managed to come up with som sort of solution including the bin, so I would be able to get some sleep. This made me feel a bit more safe, but the draft from storm Bert was absolutely freezing. Pathetic excuse of a hotel, refusing any refund for a room that did not meet the absolutely basics of what their guests pay for.

OK Hotel for the money
It was fine . Room was small but expected. Bathroom was good. Shower warm but flow restricted. Room was close to the stairs so early leavers woke me up at 4.30am because bed was right by the door. Didn't like having to put down a £100 deposit. Receptionist expalined that they'd had some problems with bad guests.

Decent Hyde Park stay for a solo traveller.
Decent place to stay, just a shame there is no lift. A great location and the staff were friendly. My only point would be they need to have better luggage storage.

3rd time this year.
I've stayed here 3 times this year. Its very convenient for public transport. Ensuite Showers are good. Stairs are quite steep. Rooms are clean, not much space but adequate, modern and comfortable. Beds abd pillows are comfortable. Staff are friendly. I'll be back in 2025.

Great hotel for a short stay in London. Room was quiet, a bit narrow, however within the range of what the city offers for the price. But, more than the confort, the best value of the hotel is its location, really close from the Paddington station, it offers easy access to the whole city and airport. Definitively a very good compromise. Also very close from Hyde Park for a fresh green walk.

Very happy to stay again
I have stayed here twice in 2 weeks. The location is convenient. The hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet. The shower rooms are a little small but work well. Will stay again when the prices are right.

Water coming through the ceiling
At 1am water started pouring through the ceirling of the bedroom onto my bed. To be fair, the guy on reception was proactive to sort it out and it was apparently caused by the guests above not closing the shower door properly, but you coukd tell ot wasnt the first time it had happened
