My family booked 4 superior twin rooms. Five days before the trip, my sister and my brother-in-law had to cancel the trip because my brother-in-law was hospitalized due to sudden acute illness. Through Expedia, I wrote to cancel the booking of 1 room and provided medical certificate as proof. I also requested for full or partial refund based on exceptional compassionate reason. However I received no response from the hotel. When we checked-in on 28 Sept, we negotiated with the hotel management but they rejected to consider our request ! They showed no sympathy and understanding to a genuine case of illness !!
I was terrified with the fixtures inside the room. The toilet seat of my room was not securely fixed, the lighting switches of bedside lamp were wrongly set, the air-conditioning was not functioning properly .... Also, the TV remote control was not functioning. I asked for assistance from the front desk reception staff who didn't help me out. His response was rude, "You spent more time in the room than me and you know better than me what went wrong." I was furious but did not argue with him at the spot. I raised a complaint with the duty manager the next morning and got the remote control replaced.
Cleanliness is another area of concern. The trash in the rubbish bin was not cleared everyday ! The cleaning staff even discarded the trash including plastic bag inside the toilet bowl !
An extremely bad experience and will NEVER ever stay in this hotel again !!!!!
