This is a small suite. it was near the beach, which is great for beach walking, though the area seemed a little run-down. It was also 10 minutes from the airport, and the hotel offers a free shuttle. The staff was friendly online and allowed us an early check-in, and we found water and juice in the fridge and bicycles outside, if we wanted to use them.
But, really, it was extremely inconvenient. It cost us more than 100 euros in taxi fees -- and 45 minutes each way --to get back and forth to the Plaka. The remoteness of the hotel needs to be clearly stated. We would have chosen a different place.
Also, the place itself is inconvenient. The living space is really tiny. The bathroom sink doesn't have enough surrounding space to even put a bar of soap there, and there wasn't enough space to hang towels. The bedroom is upstairs, and the bed was really comfortable. That was a plus. We weren't crazy about all the uncarpeted steps to get up and down, though -- especially for a bathroom visit in the middle of the night.
In the end, though I am sorry to say it, this is not luxury, and it is definitely not convenient if you really want to visit Athens.
