comfortable, clean and great location

you cannot beat the location - next to the train station and within walking distance of the key tourist areas. the cafe in the hotel is also very good. the room is comfortable but a bit small. only issues are thin walls so you hear your neighbors (muffled but still hear them) at times and the showers designed so poorly your whole bathroom gets wet so we had to put a lot of towels down.

Great Place to Enjoy Galway

This hotel has a lot of character. Room was nice, breakfast was excellent and location grand. It would be nice if there was a place to be able to drop off luggage but parking illegally across the street for 5 minutes worked out fine.

Lovely Central Galway Hotel

Eyre Square Hotel was a great little hotel in a perfect location in Galway! The room was compact but very comfortable. Bathroom door wasn't the most private and the mirror had a large crack in it (unclear if purposeful or not). Very walkable location to everywhere we went and the staff was helpful about the parking, which was down the block for a discounted rate. The Hotel had security at night. Good value, would recommend!

Clean, comfortable, friendly stay in the Heart of

We truly enjoyed our stay at Eyre Square! Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was very friendly, welcoming and always helpful, breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect! 10/10 recommend for anyone making the trip to Galway!

The most expensive rip off we have ever had

I have done everything possible to complain to HOTELS.COM about this holiday but no response has been received . This hotel was advertised as refurbished. It was the worst value we have received anywhere in the world. I am planning to take further action as non of my complaints have been acknowledged . Some nights I paid £240.00 for this. I was expecting a delux room. The cheapest night was £186.00 . I just still cant believe it . It should have been advertised as in dire need of refurbishment.

the room smelled like grease, and the AC was low, so when it was hot you had no choice but to open the window, which led to a higher smell of food and grease from the next door restaurant. It was impossible to sleep and our clothes had that smell of food and grease for days.
