Blatant disregard for customer safety and service
Double charged! Paid through Hotels.com and again at check-in. They assured me that the charge was not completed and would fall off my account. It has not. To make matters worse, the first time I laid in the bed I noticed a plastic bag wrapped around my room's smoke detector. I contacted the front desk, and they assured me that maintenance would be around in the morning to remove it and that the plastic bag would not affect the operation. The lack of concern for hotel guests put my family and everyone in the building at risk. Not to mention the complete disregard for any laws concerning fire safety in commercial buildings.
