It was back in the Ridley Creek State Park area of Media, PA. It is an older building that has been renovated. Each room has its own bathroom with shower. The breakfasts were delicious and individual to each guest. The owners are very personable, willing to talk and suggest places to see and visit. The B&B is fairly central to many Delaware County attractions and downtown Media where there is quite a bit of shopping and places to eat. I would recommend Alpenhof to anyone wanting a quiet location outside of town. If we are back in the Philly area again will definitely stay there.

A MUST STAY!
An amazing experience! Such a beautiful building, the decor is unmatched. Lots of communal rooms and places to gather. The owners are so incredibly sweet and helpful. They offer a delicious breakfast with options to choose from off a menu. Everything was so lovely and we cannot recommend them enough!

The building has a unique charm, and the owner was very friendly. The bed was soft and the proximity was great for a wedding in Newtown Square. Also, the neighborhood was very quiet.

Our hosts were very lovely. They were so accommodating and they served a delicious breakfast. Their property is surrounded by a beautiful flower garden and the inside of the inn is truly an art museum. Our stay was peaceful (exactly what we wanted) and the pool made the scorching outside temperatures bearable. If you're visiting the Media, PA area, I promise that you'll love Alpenhof Bed & Breakfast.

Unique place. Incredible amount of art pieces from Asia and Europe in every wall and corner creating a truly wonderful experience. Maximizing space usage and comfort. Superb breakfast cooked to order. Friendly and hospitable owners make you feel at home.

This was my second time staying at the Alpenhof Bed and Breakfast and once again, it did not disappoint. It is decorated in such a neat, eclectic manner and every room is different with its own unique features and charm. There is also a beautiful private pool and garden area for outdoor enjoyment. You can tell the owners, Roland and his wife take great pride in their property and go out of their way to treat you, not as customers, but as house guests visiting their home. They could not be any nicer and the cooked to order breakfast (along with fresh fruit and Danishes) is fantastic! Not to mention, the location. You are a stones throw from the small, quaint town of Media, PA, with lots of local restaurants serving everything from Indian, to Mexican, to American fare with everything in between. Great Bed and Breakfast and great location. Definitely recommend!

My husband and I have stayed at this amazing airbnb a couple of times, this time my sister and I went back East on holiday and I HAD to stay here again! I was so excited for her to experience the atmosphere, ambiance, beauty of the this immaculate place. The outdoor garden area is amazing & serene. The indoors is beautifully decorated, a museum is the way i would describe it. Now for the hosts Ahn & Roland are incredible! Friendly, accommodating & knowledgeable. The breakfast they serve is amazing, with so many choices!!! My sister was boasting to family & other travelers about our stay here!!! I was so looking forward to finishing my holiday with a last night stay here before flying home. YES I highly recommend staying at this quiet, tree nestled beautiful airbnb!

Magical Stay at Alpenhof B&B
From the moment we arrived at the Alpenhof Bed and Breakfast in Media, PA, we knew we were in for a treat. The hosts, Roland and Anh, greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel instantly at home. Their two adorable old dogs added to the welcoming atmosphere, eagerly greeting us as we entered the property. The breakfast at Alpenhof is, without a doubt, the best we've ever had. The pastries are simply out of this world, and the fact that breakfast is cooked to order adds a personal touch that is hard to find these days. The property itself is a sight to behold. It feels like stepping into a magical kingdom, where gnomes and fairies might just be real. The beautiful garden serves as a wildlife sanctuary - it's home to rabbits, chipmunks, and an array of birds. Alpenhof offers a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. We stayed in the family cottage, a charming space furnished with eclectic decor and wonderful antiques. The bed was incredibly comfortable, complete with a nice heavy down cover that ensured a good night's sleep. In conclusion, our stay at Alpenhof was nothing short of magical. From the delicious breakfast to the enchanting surroundings, it's a place we'll certainly be returning to. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with exceptional hosts, we can't recommend Alpenhof Bed and Breakfast enough.

The owners were lovely! They were friendly, warm, kind, attentive, and so interesting. Although the property was beautiful and cozy and picturesque, the owners were the best part. Additionally, the room was clean, had everything we needed, comfy and roomy! The shower was beautiful and great water pressure. Plus, breakfast was scrumptious! If I am in the area again, I would definitely go back there.
