Totally changed from wonderful to really sad.
This was our 3. stay and it has totally CHANGED. We got a room smelling so bad of smoking and no excuse. The location is FANTASTIC by the beach and the smiling girl at the restaurant at night are wonderful. But the staff manager she is full of stories. We bought friends from Europe this time and they were treated so bad-like running after them at the beach with the bill for drinks they already had payed to another waiter. We paid a bill and and then they charged the same bill with our friends and told us they would refund it to the card. They have not done it. It is 3 months ago and we would not recommend this place anymore.It us to be so wonderful and now it is bad service and full of stories.

Great Stay!

A gem of a hotel
A fabulous little place dating from 1970. Terrific for its facilities and situation, and a beachfront restaurant which is especially good. Don't come if the noise of aircraft on the adjacent runway upsets you for half of most 24 hours and if you are someone who demands a brand new building but do go there if you want personal service and inexpensive accommodation within 10 minutes of the airport.

A sweet spot that’s a hidden gem!
Great little hotel adjacent to the airport (about midway down the runway). Hotel is wonderful. It’s on the beach, has a bar/restaurant with excellent food and fair prices, chairs & umbrellas are free if you spend $20 in food/drink (p/p). Staff are very friendly. There is some noise from the planes at the airport, but it’s quiet at night. All the rooms are different with great furniture, comfy beds and kitchenette. Our friends had a tree that grows through their room! Called the tree house and has a deck in the roof. My room was in the lush garden with a wonderful private patio!

Mary’s boon is a true classic. Some unsightly properties in the area are not the fault of the owners. Beautiful beach and overall settings. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Dinner was excellent. Some rooms are being renovated. I hope it will be in the old style that brings up many warm memories of the Caribbean.

Quiet & Quaint Boutique Hotel
We got off to a rough start when we checked in and discovered that our room was not properly cleaned (floors had garbage from past guests and bathroom was not cleaned/dirty toilet) but spoke to reception and it was quickly remedied. From that point on, the stay was wonderful. All of the staff were very friendly and happy to assist in any way possible. The beach is beautiful and more than ample shady spots are provided to enjoy the amazing view without the sun beating down if you don't want to sunbathe. It is very close to the airport but it didn't bother us - we found planes were only taking off and landing between 8am and 4pm (give or take) and any noise "disruption" was very brief. If nightlife is your thing, it is a short walk to numerous restaurants and pubs (and little grocery stores) but it also provides a quiet, relaxing break with a restaurant overlooking the ocean - food was tasty, prices were comparable to other locations nearby (sometimes cheaper, especially during happy hour) and, for the most part, the service was fantastic. Overall, I'd definitely stay there again and do plan to return.

Room amenities were outdated and not maintained. Overall the place needs an upgrade. Checking in the evening or at night was by a security guard who didnt secure credit card information properly. Room was not ventilated properly. There were dogs walking through the restaurant.

A Nice Stay
Service was very kind and efficient. The grounds were nice, the pool and bar were fun, the beach is beautiful and clean. My room was a bit tired looking and needed a bit of updating, but the value for what I paid was not bad.
